~Super Mario Tribute - LilGrim1991 - 08-07-2008
Ladies and Gentleman, I have begun to embark on a wallpaper-sized project. It's sort of a community-project, but not, because I'm only looking for advanced or expert spriters, so that people will actually want to use the wallpaper, which means the quality must be consistent. We're making a Super Mario Tribute:

(you'll have to excuse me for the sky)With characters and landscapes from every and any Mario game. We're gonna make ala, Super Mario World Boxart style.
If you think you're good enough to join in, show some spritework and after an O.K, you can go crazy with the Marioness.

No pallete, only rule is don't do something someone else already did. I don't wanna see Luigi in Boo's Mansion and falling down Booster's Tower, in other words, one of each, you can call a place and the characters that'll show up in it(they'll be fairly small of course). Yeah, so just call it when you wanna do something.

Can I try making a Goomba? It would be small and in the background, I just want to be part even though I'm not that good...

A 1-Up Mushroom happily bouncing along. ignore the animation, focus on the sprites. took about 10 minutes total to sprite.

I might add come up with a sprite or two if you gave a bit more info on style and such and that background wasn't so hideous.
