Dead Rising 2: Off the Record - a babyass man - 04-13-2011

WEEWOO WEEWOO IT'S TIME FOR DEAD RISING WEEWOO WEEWOO

You probably remember a game called Dead Rising 2. It was fucking amazing and you should get off of your stupid ass and go buy it, you filth. It's like 20 bucks on Steam or something, 40 for the 360/PS3 version (get the 360 version).

But, if you've lived under a big stupid rock with a dick in your ass for the last 400 years, I'll summarize it for you: You play as Chuck Greene, a professional stuntman out to save his daughter in the middle of a zombie apocalypse set in motion between DR1 and 2. Chuck winds up in Not-Las Vegas, Nevada, where he wanders around a bunch of malls and casinos riding a pink tricycle and building wheelchair tanks to find medicine for his infected daughter, Katey. Also there's something about clearing his name I think he got framed or something, who cares.

This isn't that game. Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, announced at Captivate 2011, puts you in the familiar old shoes of this cool-ass dude right here:

But renowned forums poster M.O.D.O.K. Mo Problems, Frank West was already a protagonist in the 360-exclusive add-on, Case West!!!
Well golly, forums poster X, you didn't let me finish! I guess that's why you're forums poster X, and i'm Renowned Forums Poster M.O.D.O.K. Mo Problems.

Off the Record doesn't take place during, before, or after DR2. It's a straight-up "what-if" styled reimagining of the second game, replacing Chuck Greene and his daughter with Frank West and his camera. The second coming of Frank will include new boss battles, combo weapons, a redesigned Not Quite Las Vegas, the return of the photography feature, as well as enhanced visuals and optimized loading times.

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record is set for release sometime in Fall 2011.

also talk about dead rising in general here i guess

Well, you can't play Dead Rising 2 DLC without Dead Rising 2, silly!

Ho ho, this is more than Dead Rising 2 DLC, friend! Off the Record is a full game, to be released on a disc in a video game store probably close to you at a price that hopefully isn't 60 dollars!

really though, i'd reccomend dead rising 2 anyways because are you kidding it is an amazing game

IT'S NOT DLC
this is why you're a baldy and i'm a giant nose
i sniffed out the truth there by using the mental power of thinking (google)

RE: Dead Rising 2: Off the Record - Alpha Six - 04-15-2011

Well, Google told me it was DLC in half of the results as a glance, so. Whatever.
