Can you load a wrong palette for this guy (without black)? Then you could copy the background, change it into another colour and lay it on the right-coloured character.

And here's Fulgore from Killer Instinct Big Grin

DrKelexo...

Battle Monsters,
You'll rip the stages also? I would like to do them on mugen.

... have you ever thought about ripping sprites of WWF IN YOUR HOUSE to Saturn?
Thank you very much

That's a good idea, but I can't do it with the emulator, and the ripped BMP doesn't appear to have a palette in most editors I load it in. However, it DOES have some sort of transparency or palette in tact because of the whole browser thing.

EDIT: Oh, I can load the characters 2P palette and rip those, but only one of the three left to rip actually has a 2P palette without 0,0,0 black in it, so that's still problematic.

It's a very strange situation.

Sadly no. As much as I want to (I probably would have actually made them in mugen myself, actually!) the emulator I use is incredibly glitchy with the backgrounds, and has no real way of ripping the larger background images.

Amazing! Do we have a section already or are you submitting the first sheet? Cute
If so, would you mind doing an icon? Big Grin

RE: Sprite Ripping Project 4: 2-D Fighting Games - Davy Jones - 12-02-2011

I could be wrong, but isn't there a 2nd player palette (blue shirt)?

RE: Sprite Ripping Project 4: 2-D Fighting Games - HandToeKnee - 12-02-2011

Sabrewulf also has a pink shirt Tongue
The thing with Killer Instinct is that there isn't just P1 & P2 colours. Each character has about 6 or 7 different coloured outfits. I was going to put all the palette swaps on a separate sheet and just call it... Palette Swaps.

Unless I edit all the character sheets to include the other colours, and if Tonberry doesn't mind re uploading them all Cute
