Actually, I use Snes9x all the time, unless you're referring to a different type of save than the type I use in Snes9x.

Very cool! Thanks so much, AJ! Just Taffy and N. Boss to go!

Added:
Pit Fighter (Master System)

Just 3 more characters left to go.

Also it seems that some sheets in this project have been forgotten about:

Deadly Moves (Genesis)
Backgrounds

Art of Fighting (Genesis)

Street Fighter Arcade Portraits (the current sheet on the site seems "borrowed" like the ripper didn't rip it): http://npshare.de/files/7430adad/sf-portraits.png

The rest of the Pit Fighter stuff:

And Bonkers. Plus Blue Suedo Goo is missing a few poses. Is Maxim gonna grab those?

I tried it out, it works. Thanks for pointing that out, I could swear it didn't work in the past.

Ok cool! So can you tell me again how to do the same, but with SNESx9 if it does work?

RE: Sprite Ripping Project 4: 2-D Fighting Games - Davy Jones - 05-09-2011

It's exactly the same. Just make a quicksave with File -> Save Game Position -> Slot xy and you get a .000-file (or .001, .002, etc, depending on your chosen slot). This is the quicksave which you can use for vSNES.

Forgot about Bonker. (It's Bonker, isn't it?)
Great stuff, Yawa!

RE: Sprite Ripping Project 4: 2-D Fighting Games - Garamonde - 05-10-2011

I'm sorry, can you update my sheet, Ton? I discovered that the stage you fight on in the Training mode changes with the character, so there is no "Training Arena"... I was playing with Chun Li when I ripped this so it's actually the China Arena, where she's from.

BTW I'm gonna try to rip something different from a background this time, hope I can do it.

RE: Sprite Ripping Project 4: 2-D Fighting Games - A.J. Nitro - 05-10-2011

Are you gonna rip a fighter?

RE: Sprite Ripping Project 4: 2-D Fighting Games - Garamonde - 05-10-2011

Aw you ruined it. I wanted to surprise everyone. Sad

Oh well, I got the idle sprites ripped ATM.

RE: Sprite Ripping Project 4: 2-D Fighting Games - A.J. Nitro - 05-10-2011

I sure everyone would've assumed. We just don't know which fighter. Speaking of which, I'll be ripping Taffy next from Clayfighter.

RE: Sprite Ripping Project 4: 2-D Fighting Games - Garamonde - 05-10-2011

Yeah, that I'll be keeping secret for now (it might take a while). You and everyone else are getting all the attention ripping awesome stuff so I wanna join the fun too and be more useful. Tongue

Oh and good luck, your rips always look hard.

RE: Sprite Ripping Project 4: 2-D Fighting Games - A.J. Nitro - 05-10-2011

Not hard, but it does just take some time.

RE: Sprite Ripping Project 4: 2-D Fighting Games - Garamonde - 05-10-2011

Also, I want to ask something, how do you know when you have all the sprites for every move? This game has a ton of moves. I've played this game some but not quite enough to know what every move is let alone how to execute them easily. I always worried about that so that's why I never tried to rip from a fighting game. GameFAQs is hardly any help because it only lists the few "special" attacks, not every action.
