Open the image in photoshop ... click "image", go to "settings" and "replace color" ... There is only put in magenta and go moving the cursor until these colors become white. I can do it, if someone asks for.

Oh, i didn't knew that Mugen now supports something like this. In that case, everything's cool.

I'll have to look into it later, because I remember hearing about it, but I'm not sure if they implemented it yet.

(EDIT: Here we go. "SFFV2 can contain 24 bit (RGB) and 32 bit (RGBA) sprites. However, only mugen 1.1 and above versions can display these. Mugen 1.1 is currently in closed alpha testing, so this is a something you can't take advantage of yet.")

A quick fix on the Ryoko sheet, which includes the missing character select icon

In other news, Matlok is under way.

RE: Sprite Ripping Project 4: 2-D Fighting Games - TomGuycott - 04-08-2011

I've been set back again with missed frames. T_T Fortunately, it seems to all be over and done with. To top that all off, I'm down to ONE last monster and then just the Rangers, who ALL seem to have the same basic frames (with the exception of specials, victory and defeat poses, and in the case of the Green and Pink ranger, their heads). Originally I was afraid I'd get bored with the ranger rips, but seeing as I can at least lump the Red, Black, Yellow and Blue rangers in one sheet, I think I'm gonna be fine.

Now that I'm back, I should be able to more on this project.

The ClayFighter sprites are different for the two games? That is going to make things more difficult. However, I won't let it stop me!

Here's two more characters from 63 1/3! They're Bad Mr. Frosty and Bonker!

Next up: Kung Pow!

Here's what I got of EarthWorm Jim so far. I'm gonna take a short break and work on a couple other things, then I'll return to working on ol' EWJ.

Good work so far, dude! Big Grin

RE: Sprite Ripping Project 4: 2-D Fighting Games - Maxim - 04-09-2011

Nice work everyone! I really like the Bad Mister Frosty Sheet, because they made his appearance more evil again since he looked so silly in Clayfighter 2. I also would like to claim T-Hoppy from the Sculptor's Cut for my next rip.

Side note: I keep hearing about a re-release of Clayfighter 63 1/3 for the Wii and DSi under the Title "Clayfighter - Call of Putty", scheduled for this year. You can see some Screenshots here: http://youtu.be/x7EJMj7sPW0

Wait, I'm still confused, and forgive me if I missed something, but how would I use these sprites to avoid the anti-aliasing?

The easiest way would be to open the sheets in Paint. Seriously. Just watch out for the sprites which have pure black in them.

(EDIT: Or... not? Oddly enough, Paint counts the transparent 0,0,0 colour as being different than the opaque 0,0,0. Weird.)

It's a Nintendo 64 game, actually.
