unfortunatelly.. this is f*&%shit because for some reason the way the model came was a bit distorted... does anyone know how to fix this?

RE: Resident evil 3 Nemesis Jill valentine - Shadowth117 - 01-04-2011

What did you rip the model with? If it was 3D Ripper DX then it probably had the wrong FOV on the model. To fix this you really just have to scale it on a different axises, usually y and z, until it comes out right.

If it wasn't 3D Ripper DX than tell us what you used to rip it and we might be able to help more although generally you fix the issue the same way.

RE: Resident evil 3 Nemesis Jill valentine - yoyonerd - 01-04-2011

yes, it was 3D Ripper DX, i looked all over the place for this fov option on it and didnt find it... or is an option in 3d studio max?

im pretty sure i messed with something like that before to fix a model that was scaled a bit off.. but i dont remember the tool exactly

RE: Resident evil 3 Nemesis Jill valentine - Shadowth117 - 01-04-2011

There is an option in 3DS Max, but if you don't have that you can just scale the model along an axis like I suggested before and fix it manually, but yeah if you have 3DS Max you can import the model with the plugin and it will probably automatically predict the right FOV.

ok, i been trying and trying, and no luck.. maybe i'll just look for some 3ds tutorial of how to scale axis because this 3D riper pluggin seems mitologic to me XD

I know I'm not here often, but I know that you're not supposed to ask for help on main threads or if it's one of your first posts.
