Elk probably meant he didn't come to TSR for inspiration, but others took it as, "I don't need inspiration ever."
I remember posting something along the lines of above post, but it seems to have disappeared. Damn internet. I hate living in the mountains in a third world country.

idk about you guys but when I see impressive as hell pixelarts from everyone else here actually we can broaden that to art in general from everyone, I feel totally unaccomplished and I strive to do better. I dislike being incapable of achieving effects that everyone else can seamlessly perform, and I want to figure out how to achieve these effects in my own personal way, with my own twists, and overall make improvements on these effects.

i dont really think anything else could be added to this, and also that we're all aware of how to etc etc.
i dont think this needs to be open anyway, feel free to re-read the thread and take your personal conclusions.
