Would you happen to have a link for it? Tinkie's been an amazing program to use for my ripping, but I'm always wanting to try other programs! Smile

Lots of lovely programs there. Wink

EDIT2: *FACEPALM* I just realized what I did wrong. Very Sad For whatever reason, until I saw your post Death, it didn't click in my head that the palette for Wyl would be first in the palettes, (800). So I had been using like, Thyodor's palette with Wyl, etc. -.-; I freaking fail. But now that I realized that, I can go through and match the palettes with the right models, rofl. (I realized this when I loaded up 829, which based on your URL I assumed was Wyl, but it looked like Thyodor. So I went back, and found the first files with a different extension than the 829+ ones, which happened to be 800, loaded it up, and poof, perfect. XD)

Thanks, haha. Now I can go about getting all the battle sprites onto sprite sheets too. Cute

On a side note: If you mix up Mireille and Mischka's palette's, it's pretty hilarious, considering they have almost identical models, aside from one being pink and one being blue.

Though, now I wonder what else I missed. Very Sad Back over them I go.

On that note, is there a size limit to sprite sheets we submit? >_> Wyl's is already pretty massive for this game, lol. The new sprites are going to pretty much double that. Same with Ancel. xD Though Ancel's may end up even bigger than Wyl's, due to his massive soul crush animation.

EDIT: Ugh. Battle sprites ripped, victory sprites ripped, but still delving as far in as I can, as apparently I missed things before. xD Double Checking now. Cute

EDIT: Found the soul crush sprites. xD Though for the most part, it's just the battle sprite sheet with some additional frames.

Don't ever worry about sheet sizes, there is no real limit (and yours are pretty small TBH). Go ahead and take your time finding as many sprites as you can, and when you're ready you can update your sheets. Wink

I think I was pushing 3000x5000 for some of the background sheets for Bust a Move Plus!... Tongue

Uh...hm...this is kind of a weird question, but what are the typical palette settings for wonderswan color games in TiledGGD? I'm experimenting a bit with the program and am trying to use it to properly rip some Inuyasha game for my friend...

RE: Ripping Questions - Kaolla Su - 02-04-2012

Question here:
Now I want to rip sprites from *.bin file,
but all extractor I known didn't work...
(I found a extractor but that's only for CD image type...CD image also has *.bin format)

Did somebody have ripped sprites from *.bin file?
And how to do?

RE: Ripping Questions - Dazz - 02-04-2012

It depends on the game, .bin is a common file type but it doesn't actually mean anything. It's like a ".dat" file

You can't. I figured it out with Tile Molester and it involved a modified Genesis format, which can't be done currently with TiledGGD.
Code:
<directcolor id="CF07" bpp="16" rmask="0E00" gmask="00E0" bmask="000E">
<description>9bpp RGB (Wonderswan)</description>
</directcolor>
I don't remember which emulator I used for the savestate, but I did check it with the first Final Fantasy and it did work.

RE: Ripping Questions - Carpaccio - 02-07-2012

Thank you much, good sir.

Anyway, I've been messing with Tinke, and it says it can unpack the files of Professor Layton and the Last Specter, such as the 'DARC' files. I have no idea how to do so however. Can someone educate me? Is it a plugin? If so, how do I put it in? I found the google code page but all that's available are blasted source files...I have the most recent Tinke and it doesn't do this...

RE: Ripping Questions - Carpaccio - 02-08-2012

Is there any easy way to rip DOS games? I wanted to...well not really WANT to... Rip Mike Dawson from Dark Seed for a close friend of mine. I'd put in a request for it but I doubt anyone but me would want to go to so much trouble...

RE: Ripping Questions - Dazz - 02-08-2012

Not that I know of...

RE: Ripping Questions - Belial - 02-09-2012

Dosbox and animget? I'll look into this when I'm less inebriated. I've been wanting to take a shot at megaman PC anyway.

RE: Ripping Questions - Ton - 02-09-2012

DOS is crazy-hard to rip. I still haven't finished my Dr. Quandary and Number Munchers stuff.

RE: Ripping Questions - Koopaul - 02-09-2012

Hm sure hope someday Donkey Kong Jungle Climber will get more sprites.
