As of so far, no one's managed to crack it as of yet, but i'm still looking for people who can take a shot at it.

As am I, we just need to rally more support at Xentax. The topic is already on the second page! Here's a link to it if you feel like joining and helping in rallying support by bumping it with important information or your own needs for extraction.

I wish I knew all the tech stuff so I could help out in that area. But I'm just a lowly little pixel guy. xD But it's cool that we're getting some progress here.

Speaking of which, WIP:

Sorry for the JPEG, it's just a quick screenie anyways. So far, I've got only a few of the frames done for Ramona. (Question, does anyone know how many frames cycle in her standing animaition?)

Sorry for being so slow on this, like I said before, this is taking forever to do. And to "/■/" aka Metaru, I was a little butthurt on what you consider my process of ripping, but don't worry, I'm over it and I won't be uploading any more sprites via DA without permission. Cute

its ok, i deal with that kind of issues on a daily basis.

Well you're not called a 'Sprite mod' for nothing! xD I should have been more open and forgiving to your opinions and criticisms since you never really did bash my work. Smile No hard feelings, m'kay?

Here, have a look at this article.

If I were better at the game, I'd try this myself, but my friend is using the 360 for a while (We paid for it together).

RE: Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game - Cobalt Blue - 10-21-2010

tracing/redrawing the sprites isnt the most efficient way. besides you'll be better simply learning how to extract the data from the game's files for a loss less quality result.

RE: Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game - Carpaccio - 10-21-2010

Though we're very hopeful, it seems this project has little interest at Xentax OR here. I highly doubt we're going to be able to extract it any time soon.

I think your best bet would seriously be to talk with Paul Robertson and ask him about it. He's a fairly understanding and reasonable guy.

Thanks, this is a nice alternative to the PVR thing I mentioned a couple pages back. Although, I still rather prefer the PVR for capturing since the output quality's better (Component vs composite), this might be a cheaper alternative for me to use. Cute

As /■/ said, it's probably better to get them from the game files since they are the native genuine articles, but at least this gives us another option.

He already said it's okay to use the one's from his LJ, but as far as ripping or redrawing, I too think it is best we should ask before posting more stuff.

I think what Dazz meant is that you should ask Paul Robertson for sheets or tilesets. Whatever sprite he kept on his computer.

RE: Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game - Carpaccio - 10-22-2010

I've done so, and haven't gotten a reply yet.

He could be busy as of right now, let's wait it out and see what happens.

RE: Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game - BouncekDeLemos - 10-22-2010

He already told OmegaSonic0 that he didn't have time to make sprite sheets, but he did tell him to look out of more on his LJ.

Maybe just ask for the graphics files and that we will arrange sheets...? Or something of that nature - it'd show his support for the community etc. and to be honest, he does seem like a cool guy, but yeah...

Actually that's what I did. I said if he would just send the graphics, we would take responsibility for organizing them.
