digimon world use .TMD files for its models if you want them extract them with this program
http://www.romhacking.net/utils/131/
you can then import them to milkshape 3d

these guys are doing it

most digimon games this will not work on the only one I have not tried is rumble arena

D'ont worry I know how do this and that digimon world use TMD (and I know warcraft unlimited 3 too) but thanks.

RE: Game Specific Model Ripping guides - Shadowth117 - 09-13-2010

Added Hijack GL to the list of non specific rippers.

RE: Game Specific Model Ripping guides - Shadowth117 - 09-28-2010

Added info on how to rip from Wii games with .BRRES models.

RE: Game Specific Model Ripping guides - Shadowth117 - 10-06-2010

Added guide on ripping .BMD/.BDL models and added Dolphin and Wii Scrubber as file extractors to tools.

RE: Game Specific Model Ripping guides - Zerox - 10-08-2010

Well HijackGL apparently doesn't rip uvmaps at all. A real shame too. Does anyone have OGLE and all that preset up for use with nsbmd that they wouldn't mind sharing?

RE: Game Specific Model Ripping guides - xdonthave1xx - 11-07-2010

I know this hasn't been replied to since last month (almost to the day), but I was trying to use both Ogle and NSBMD (got the nsbmd part to work, couldn't make heads or tails of the ogle part, but could merely be missing something).

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable in this area can do a better job than I did.

Ogle and nsbmd in one archive. Already missing The Walking Dead, so if I remember tomorrow, I can try to upload this to a real host.

Hope no one has problems with Megaupload. Or if they do, could someone who doesn't please kindly upload to an alternative (100% optional)?

about riping models from psp games (i dont know exaclty how is done.. but i could see in the website.. models from dissidia and other few psp games..

how its done?

i been tracking down a way to rip kratos from god of war.. rip from ps2 is totaly out of the question so i turned to chains of olympus for psp

is there a way?

RE: Game Specific Model Ripping guides - Shadowth117 - 11-23-2010

No idea for that game. I'd have to guess that its just not possible simply because I haven't seen any rips of it and the tool that would have to have done it has been out for a long time.

You can get that tool that people use for Dissidia and such here though at least: http://www.richwhitehouse.com/index.php?content=inc_projects.php#prjmp4

RE: Game Specific Model Ripping guides - yoyonerd - 11-23-2010

thanks for the directions.. as i undestand, the name of the tool is gitmo right?.. is this the one you said its been out?

anyway im downloading now and im gonna try extract something out of a psp iso.. i'll come back here to tell how it went

I never had the chance to try but this is basically 3d ripper dx for the psp

If you're trying to say mesh2rdm is like 3D Ripper DX, I can't help but correct you since 3D Ripper DX only rips from running applications rather than converting the actual models themselves. Its basically like print screen compared to an image converter.

RE: Game Specific Model Ripping guides - Zerox - 12-07-2010

Well I'm guessing he missed the link but I believe he was referring to this ripper: http://drakon.ixan.net/ Which is actually like 3D Ripper DX only for the psp instead.

I havn't been able to try but I might have figured somthing out. we can't get psx models because of the way they are rendered in the emulator. but what if we tried Bleem!, bleem used High level emulation so it redered models differently then the psx did. also bleem used DX6 so 3d ripper might work if we can find a windows 95/98/me computer

RE: Game Specific Model Ripping guides - Shadowth117 - 12-29-2010

I dunno if it would work with that version of Direct X, but you could try it. And all you'd probably need is XP rather than an old old 95/98 OS. That, or you could use VirtualPC or something to emulate Windows on Windows (Yes I know how dumb that sounds but it would work).
