Zelda Timeline. - Corporal Tom - 07-04-2008

This is what I have so far.

1.Minish Cap
2.Four Swords Adventures.

The Timeline splits at Oracle of Seasons/Ages AND at Ocarina of Time.

RE: Zelda Timeline. - kyrtuck - 07-04-2008

Does anyone think that Link: faces of Evil and Wand of Gamelon should be considered cannon?

RE: Zelda Timeline. - Yoder - 07-04-2008

According to what I've heard, it goes something like:

OoT => MM => TP
OoT => WW => PH

I once heard that the older games (1, 2, and LttP) are actually supposed to take place long after any of the more recent games.

~~~~~~~~
The CD-i games? Probably not, and they didn't contain much story anyway.
The timeline doesn't split in the Oracle games, only OoT, and even that's debatable. More importantly, why do we care?
RE: Zelda Timeline. - K0n9 - 07-04-2008
MC
OoT
/ \(split)
MM WW[/align]
TP PH
FS LoZ
FSA LoZ2
LttP
LA
OoA/OoS
OoS/OoA
The ones italic are the "adult link" timeline after adult Link and Zelda seal Ganondorf
Why did you put FS and FSA after TP?
RE: Zelda Timeline. - Orion X - 07-04-2008
I like this theory.
RE: Zelda Timeline. - Badassbill - 07-05-2008
Gametrailers theory has holes all over it. The biggest being that TP is on an opposite time line to WW, but they put it on the same one. TP mentions a parallel world flooded by water.
RE: Zelda Timeline. - Rakia - 07-05-2008
I think there is no real timeline and Nintendo likes to make you guys sound like a bunch of dicks.
: )
RE: Zelda Timeline. - Ngamer01 - 07-05-2008
Nintendo had an official timeline up on it's Zelda Universe site, but haven't updated it since Majora's Mask came out and the site went through layout changes.
Back then they had it:
Ocarina of Time
Majora's Mask
A Link to the Past
Oracle of Seasons/Ages
Zelda 1
Zelda 2
Link's Awakening
It's a start and could help with determining where the newer games fit in.
The only thing that makes no since about that is Four sword adventure should be after Minish Cap
I was not aware of Twilight Princess mentioning something like that. Guess I need to pay attention more. Shocked
It is. Just not directly after it.
RE: Zelda Timeline. - Ark Kuvis - 07-05-2008
There is no coverup to 9/11, there is only the Zelda timeline.
Seriously? Who said it was it during the explanation of Ganondorf?
RE: Zelda Timeline. - kyrtuck - 07-05-2008
I think Nintendo meant for us to not dwell on "trivial details" like chronologically. I think its the same with all the cartoonish games.
