How do you make sprites from a game?
Yes,maybe there are mistakes in this text, but i'm not an English guy.
I'm from Belgium and 11 years old.

unless you make them yourself, using an art program, you gotta rip them.

How do i rip them?

RE: Sprites... - Nero_Gamer - 07-02-2008

I don't know. You have to download a program, then I don't know what else. Sorry.

RE: Sprites... - BKWHOPPER - 07-02-2008

There is a tutorial for ripping sprites at the top of this forum, written by Badassbill. He also provides links to several ripping programs, so I'd go there.

or you can make them with the paint program

RE: Sprites... - Isaac55 - 07-03-2008

OK, you have to get the ROM, a screen snapping program, and paint. The tutorials should say the rest.

All right, a little glossary here:

Emulator
A program for the computer that can play console / CD games. The Emulator you download needs to be a good one so that it'll be able to play ANY game you send its way.
The BEST Examples:
SNES Emulator: ZSNES
GBA Emulator: Visual Boy Advance
etc.

ROM
The actual game data. These you can find online (through BitTorrent sites, or maybe not, depending on where you look for them and which games you seek). Some ROMS come inside ZIPed files, which, depending on your emulator, will require you to unzip the files or not.
