Mystic Ruins, that's crazy O_O cool!

RE: Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete - Davy Jones - 03-25-2010

yeah, I like the second map of that area most =)

And huh? Red Dragon's Lair + tileset in the EBC-section? These sheets are for the SSSC-section. Additionally, you are really too fast Tonberry, you saved the sheets before I was able to rename them xD. The real name is "Red Dragon's Lair" and not "Red Dragon Chamber", new replacements are already posted:

Finished:

Unfortunately, I really came back to Pentagulia... but the north part of the city was already destroyed, not a single chance to catch something from the roof of the (beautiful) shrine =/

RE: Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete - Ton - 03-25-2010

Whoops. I'll fix it and add all the new ones.

RE: Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete - Davy Jones - 03-26-2010

I'm currently in a final boss fight with Zophar, this guy is really one of the hardest enemies I've ever faced.

And yeah, two screens what you could do with some maps from Lunar EBC & SSSC by using RPG Maker (screens by Biohazard), first screen is animated and looks even better than the original:

He requested also White Dragon's Lair from EBC & Blue Dragon's Lair from SSSC, both areas are my next rips.

Battle Backgrounds which are left:
Bandit Butte (2 or 3)
Serak Palace (2)
Goddess Tower (1)
Pentagulia Underground (maybe 1 is left, I'm not sure)

RE: Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete - Deathbringer - 03-27-2010

Since you're using savestates, can you tell me if the palette for the sprites themselves change (not the backgrounds, the actual sprites) or if they use a unified palette?

Strike that, they do have different palettes, they're just really, really reused. I can help with the enemies and such (like the PCs and NPCs), as soon as I figure out the palette system in the file from Disc1.

Uh, yeah, it's doubled because I thought it was two different sets (the second one follows the first), so I'll need to pay attention.

And I'm ripping from DATA.PAK.

RE: Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete - Davy Jones - 03-27-2010

oh my god, you really want to assemble THIS?

Well, the regular enemies are far easier to rip, they have not as many animation frames as in SSSC and as far as I know from using PSX-VRAM they are good pre-arranged (in comparison to the bosses, every phase has their own stored sprites in the memory).

RE: Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete - Deathbringer - 03-27-2010

I never said anything about assembling, however I can get all of the tile sets as the bosses have multiple, including Zophar and the Star Dragon. One drawback is that some sets are duplicates.
The enemies are stored by area after area, so I can get those ripped too.

RE: Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete - Davy Jones - 03-28-2010

xD, it seems that Fake Althena has some poses from Plantella (hit pose, etc.). I've never noticed that, very interesting =O

RE: Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete - Deathbringer - 03-28-2010

I got the tilesets for all of the enemies here: http://s560.photobucket.com/albums/ss42/The_Deathbringer/tSR/Lunar/Eternal%20Blue%20Complete/

I numbered them according to placement in the file, some areas aren't where they would be game-wise and the mini-bosses are counted as enemies.

Oh, important note, the last 4 pixel rows are leftovers, when you do the enemies, just cut off the 4 rows at the bottom.

This is from the boss fight, not the enemy (I'm sure it is as it's from sheet 41 which is just the assassin). Although the enemy version might just be the same thing.

RE: Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete - Davy Jones - 03-28-2010

wow, awesome Heart

RE: Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete - Deathbringer - 04-01-2010

Guardian *UPDATED*
Magic Tester LX1 *UPDATED*
White Yeti

In case someone's wondering how all of the Magic Tester fits into the VRAM, I'm going to assume it constantly swaps out tilesets when not in use.

RE: Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete - Davy Jones - 04-02-2010

Nice, but I think that Missing Link has a avalanche attack. Magical Tester LX & Guardian seem to be complete.

RE: Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete - Deathbringer - 04-02-2010

I'll check the file again but I didn't notice any avalance attack.

Yeah, it's not with his tiles, unless that attack is used by the party, and it uses it from there.

Shit, no wonder why, it's separated from it. That means I'll have to look at 2 different areas for the tilesets.

I'm going to need to redo the previous sheets as there are palette differences between them.
