Snake codecs? - HyperSonic92 - 12-17-2009

Will we make some for this game?

RE: Snake codecs? - Alpha Six - 12-17-2009

i don't see why not!

RE: Snake codecs? - Rosencrantz - 12-17-2009

I'd love to see an Otakon codec about Travis :>

BAD CODEC SCRIPT INCOMING::

Snake: Hey, Otakon? This man...
Otakon: Oh, isn't that Travis Touchdown?
Snake: You know him?
Otakon: No... wait. What makes you say that?
Snake: Well, I dunno. He reminds me of you.
Otakon: Reminds you of... me? How?
Snake: He's just got that... air around him.
Otakon: And what do you mean by "air"?
Snake: Like... he enjoys Japanese TV... or something...
Otakon: And is there something wrong with liking Japanese television?
Snake: I just... nevermind. He just reminds me of you, that's all.
Otakon: Well, apparently he IS an Otaku, so I can kinda see why he reminds you of me. Just watch his movements; he's a top-tier assassin, and you probably don't want to get on his bad side.
Snake: If I find an anime video lying around here, do you think I can distract him with it?
Otakon: Ugh.
Snake: What? I'm curious. I mean, would that work on you?
Otakon: ...probably...

RE: Snake codecs? - HyperSonic92 - 12-17-2009

SNAKE: Otakon, looks like Luigi has a clone too.
OTAKON: That's Waluigi, Snake. I believe he's Wario's brother.
SNAKE: *sigh* Just what we need. Another brotherly beat-down
OTAKON: Be careful Snake, Waluigi has some serious leg power. One kick would knock you through a wall. He's also skilled with explosives.
SNAKE: I see. Let's just see who's arsenal is better.

yeah I'm no good with this kind of stuff

Idk, I like that you;
1. Avoided limiting him to sports.
2. That last line.

RE: Snake codecs? - Star - 12-17-2009

I was waiting to see if anyone would talk about this. I'd love to see this done! We need to find two very good voice actors though..

If we could, maybe we should contact these guys:

RE: Snake codecs? - Koopaul - 12-17-2009

Yeah I don't like the fact you called him a "clone"

RE: Snake codecs? - Bazzoka - 12-17-2009

Obviously he called him a clone since you know, Wario is like a clone of Mario and well with Waluigi and Luigi. What's wrong with that? Nothing.

I think a better word would be twin or something, mainly since in term of SSB, clone means another character with a near identical moveset.

RE: Snake codecs? - Bazzoka - 12-17-2009

But you know, the term he was using probably wasn't the one slapped on with the Smash series. But whatever. Might as well change it then since people would probably pick that out and start complaining. :V

If you're a fan like me you know that's not true.

RE: Snake codecs? - Bazzoka - 12-17-2009

I guess I'm a fan on a different level :V

Quite obviously, I worded that horribly, but again, whatever.

RE: Snake codecs? - TomGuycott - 12-17-2009

Potential Porky Codec?:

SNAKE: Woah, that little brat almost ran me over!
COLONEL: That's Porky Minch. He's Ness' nextdoor neighbor, but they couldn't be more opposite of each other.
SNAKE: HGRK! He drives that thing like a maniac! Dumb kid!
COLONEL: Porky doesn't have psychic abilities like Ness and his friends. Instead, he hides inside destructive machines to do his dirty work.
SNAKE: Grr... I'm gonna yank that brat out of there and beat some sense into him.
COLONEL: It won't be that easy, Snake. Although he has no psychic abilities of his own, he allies himself with an entity called Giygas... To put it bluntly, Giygas is evil incarnate, a force so strong it can engulf the universe.
SNAKE: That's ridiculous, Colonel. You expect me to believe that?

:The Colonel's side of the screen starts to get covered in red static:

SNAKE: Wha...? Colonel? Colonel!!

:The Colonel returns, but his face is distorted and wavy and red:

COLONEL: Snaaaaaaaaaaaaaake...
SNAKE: ...!!!
COLONEL: Snaaake... I'm... happy... it hurts...

I like this.

It reminds me of the La Le Lu Li Lo part of Luigi's codec.

RE: Snake codecs? - TomGuycott - 12-18-2009

I was actually thinking of referencing that, but I think it'd be more interesting having dialogue more akin to what Giygas might say.
