RE: Official Manniversary Fortress 2 Lounge - Crappy Blue Luigi - 10-18-2011

7 and 50, respectively

RE: Official Manniversary Fortress 2 Lounge - Cobalt Blue - 10-18-2011

and that was me not believeing someone would waste his time doing so.

RE: Official Manniversary Fortress 2 Lounge - Kitsu - 10-18-2011

You could pop into a few trading servers; sometimes there are people willing to trade metal for those. While they're making a profit off of you, at least you wouldn't have to spend your own money to get any use from those crates.

51 crates, actually. Added all the numbers up from TF2Items.com's "checklist" feature.

...

That's not nearly as bad as me. I used to get Battalion's Backups all the time. And I currently have a rage-inducing 74 crates (count 'em yourself if you dare -- they're not hard to miss considering they're on the last two pages). Would've been more if I didn't trade away around 17 a few months ago.

RE: Official Manniversary Fortress 2 Lounge - Rosencrantz - 10-19-2011

Just as a tip: people tend to give you a weapon for eight crates.

Oh, and I see you still have a series 2 in there. The community is convinced those things have a higher chance of scoring unusuals, so they'll probably give you a good scrap or two just for it.

RE: Official Manniversary Fortress 2 Lounge - Lemonray - 10-19-2011

HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG

Don't you just love how after the update, tf2 literally can't go an hour without crashing at some point?

Looks like the Pyro's version of the Reserve Shooter is bugged. If you switch out and fire right after airblasting someone, you won't get a minicrit :/
I say, I rather like the Righteous Bison, now that I've used it for a while. Kinda cheap, though. You don't even have to worry about running out of ammo with this thing.

I traded like, 32 crates away the other day, for a single scrap. I'm so tired of these things.

You know, one weapon for eight crates sounds fine by me, as long as I can trade those things away so that they stop clogging up my inventory.

And I actually don't have a series #2 crate, you might've miscounted. The checklist says I have the following:

Series #7 (6), Series #8 (4), Series #9 (9), Series #11 (2), Series #13 (1), Series #16 (9), Series #17 (10), Series #18 (9), Series #20 (1), Series #21 (3), Series #23 (2), Series #24 (2), Series #25 (3), Series #26 (3), Series #27 (3), Series #28 (4), and Series #29 (3).

I wish Mann Co. Crates didn't exist tbh.

It's a really poor excuse to get players to go to the store and buy a key when they can get the same item over there.

If you ignore the whole Strange and Unusual versions of things people usually buy off people for more money than the actual item being a regular version, netting you more money or another item you'd rather have or getting you something that could hold value to you more than other items.

Along with people willing to gamble for a chance of something special, which people like doing.

They're also bargaining chips and some people may want a crate you've collected since whenever, at least if it isn't current.

RE: Official Manniversary Fortress 2 Lounge - Random Talking Bush - 10-19-2011

I really don't care for Strange weapons, honestly, but if I get one in a trade I'm fine with it (like the four I've got). I think Unusuals are kinda stupid and would never want one (except to sell it to someone else), but that's just my opinion.

Actually I was talking more towards metaru, kind of forgot to mention him in the post, heh.

Ah, I see. It's a simple mistake, don't worry 'bout it.
