What the hell is Fruit Fucker doing in MNC?

RE: Official Australian Fortress 2 Lounge - Kitsu - 01-25-2011

I bet there is at least one person somewhere in the world who would join the navy just for a TF2 hat- Just imagine how many max heads a hat like that would be worth!

Also, I'll be getting MNC, but not for the TF2 items... Although, I won't be able to actually play either of those games for a while :/

RE: Official "whatever who cares" Fortress 2 Lounge - Cobalt Blue - 02-03-2011

thats it ladies

a hat, two weapons and $60 less in your budget in exchange for this.

congratulations, tf2 is now valve's happy meal.

RE: Official "whatever who cares" Fortress 2 Lounge - Saltonara - 02-03-2011

I thought that was a joke until I saw the items on the TF2 wiki.

RE: Official "whatever who cares" Fortress 2 Lounge - Rosencrantz - 02-03-2011

ugh

Why am I still keeping my hopes up for this game? : (

RE: Official "whatever who cares" Fortress 2 Lounge - Saltonara - 02-03-2011

I don't really see what's so bad about it though. They're trying to keep the game alive, as well as trying to get people to play other games (despite the fact some people are stupid enough to buy games literally just for the items).

Also: The Sharpened Volcano Fragment and the Sun-on-a-Stick will be obtainable through crafting after the Rift pre-order period ends.

Are you retarded? TF2 right now doesn't need life support. It's Valve's most popular game right now, possibly more popular than Counter-Strike. It's the most frequently updated game on Steam all-together.

The items do not fit with the game's art-style in any way. And if you wanna get them right now, you have to buy a stupid MMO for 50-60 dollars.

But new blog post indicates they will be craftable after the promotion. Doesn't change the fact they don't fit.

RE: Official "whatever who cares" Fortress 2 Lounge - Saltonara - 02-03-2011

yes i have mental retardation

No seriously, it's probably Valve's most popular game because they keep adding new features. And nowhere did I say/imply the items fit the style.

RE: Official "whatever who cares" Fortress 2 Lounge - Cobalt Blue - 02-03-2011

because pooping over a pile of poop is adding new features.

i really miss the old updates when they carefully planned, designed and elaborated stuff to make things awesome. since the engineer update everything has gone downhill.

Just when things could get worse.

I was speaking in general. Sorry. Sad

I think we can all agree that the Engie update was the best update TF2 ever received.

Sure, Golden Wrenches and all, but hey: entire pack was great : (

I just wish that Valve would have done similar planning with all these community items, if they were to implement this clusterfuck of items to begin with.

Well, yes, I will admit the more recent updates are nowhere near as good as they could've/should've been. But technically, "pooping over a pile of poop" is adding new features. Even if they're not the best.

Also, do both of those have the "Genuine" prefix? If so, I really don't see the point of such a prefix, just like "Vintage". All's that did was made trading for the items I need/want a bitch.
