I'm debating on whether or not I should have the spike on the left side, just as it come around the corner, stick out more. I think I should, and yet, It feels like that would through off the timing. Idk, I suck at animations.

Personally, I think this is very good!

If you plan on uploading this perhaps you should consider a tiles format so the the size and length could be edited as needed.

Ah, very true, just a moment, I'll update the first post in a moment.

1. The shadows of the cylinder move. why?
2. The spikes don't produce shadows
3. For the spikes in the far left, make them darker.

Keep it up!

the spikes in the frames 2 and 4 needs to be wider.

1. It's based off of the ones in NSMBWii. The ones in SMW where cylinders, while in NSMBWii aren't.
2.I'll get right on that.
3. Alright.

EDIT- Okay, I made an edit, although I just noticed I screwed up the actual base of the "pole" thing.

I personally think it rotates a bit fast, but that's probably from NSMBwii too?

Looks good otherwise. Keep at it.

I've been trying to think of a way to spread the bases animation so it goes for the full 4 frames, but it doesn't come out right, so I'll continue to mess around with it.

RE: Castle trap of spiny spiky doom - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 11-30-2009

idk, it's weird, because when I just look at the top, it's just two frames. @__@
I think you should make it four frames, and make the spikes eight frames.

EDIT:
Yeah, I tried, and 3 frames is the best it would go. So, I think best solution is to make the base 3 frames, and the spikes 4 frames, so you could make a 12-frame loop. Smile

again, I could stare at it for hours.
I like how it came out
