Love your ideas, GB. What about a SML2 where he gets the bunny ears or something?

Well, since GB is gonna use the original SML, that won't work. I want the moves to solely be based on the game, and no other.

Added some shadings to the walking poses.

How does sword play relate to Wario Land?

RE: Fantasy Smash Project 2.0 - Kitsu - 07-25-2009

Yeah, I thought the same thing.

@omegakyogre, I think Ridley should probably lean forward a bit more.

@Gaia, definitely the best one so far.

RE: Fantasy Smash Project 2.0 - Kinanza - 07-25-2009

I have a question. When making stages, what do the approximate dimensions in pixels have to be? Or do you just make them any size you want?

RE: Fantasy Smash Project 2.0 - Kitsu - 07-25-2009

Make it however big you want.

...Within reason...

RE: Fantasy Smash Project 2.0 - Gors - 07-25-2009

@Gaia: maybe you could remove the line under his eyes. Definitely better, though.

RE: Fantasy Smash Project 2.0 - Gaia - 07-25-2009

The line is prolly his where his snout is at.

End result from removing most of the snout line, and looks a little more like himself, NOW I might start on his sheet.

I forgot to edit the gameplay description. I kept copying the layout from the Zelda, whatever.
But yeah, abilities from Wario and enemies.

kthx

The new one is another attempt before I read Gorsal's post.

I hope I took a step in the right direction with the newest one, though. I had to make some compromises using 3 colors.

@Estian, the stance looks nice. Although, I think Ridley should have both his palms facing downward.
I wanna say that, even though it might be kinda awkward, that his stance could a small hover above the ground...
But back to the sketch, I say that's a good stance. I think you should use it.
I like #3 with something closer to #4's rear hand. This is looking so good.

RE: Fantasy Smash Project 2.0 - Chaoxys - 07-25-2009

So I guess the one I was working on doesn't count for this then?

RE: Fantasy Smash Project 2.0 - Angelglory - 07-25-2009

Crap, sorry Grey, forgot about it.
