I seriously have that same issue, was working on a stamina bar for a spin attack and yeah it doesn't work and the player just spins 5'ever.. Anyhow really smooth animations! I am Impressed. I read that you use Game Maker to make your game, that's nice! Hope you share a link of your game when it'll be done ! I also use Game Maker (Studio, the latest version), to make my games.
