It's not pillowed, please take a closer look next time! Also Cshad Im update the shading to M&L Ice Colors. and did some minor fixes, Which is better 1 or 2,

RE: CoolYoshi's Customs - Cshad - 09-03-2008

It is pillowed
And it needs less dithering

RE: CoolYoshi's Customs - Mageker - 09-03-2008

Its good, but its pillow-shaded.

EDIT: Oh, and the right one is better IMO.

RE: CoolYoshi's Customs - CeeY - 09-03-2008

Sheet update, got the M&LUnsureS Ice pallet, and also redone the shading, if it is a little bit pillowed because the squares are so small,

RE: CoolYoshi's Customs - Geo the Fox - 09-03-2008

It's pillow-shaded around the face and some areas, the light source is inconsistant in other areas, there shouldn't be dithering to begin with, and the shading on the crown has too much of a curve to it + too much contrast.

It is the AA next to the Dark blue outline, I fixed the light sources, only left 3 dithered because it make them stand out more, and fixed the crown shading, update,

Lookin' better than before... The center jewel of the crown doesn't look quite aligned with the center of the crown, but that's okay.

RE: CoolYoshi's Customs - -Dark- - 09-04-2008

Not bad. I think it would look best (while being most accurate) with no dithering tho.

Good Call Dark! I got rid of the dithering, and Miles I didn't perfectly center the jewel because the light source is coming from the west, so I tilted it, and the tip is only two pixels wide, update,

RE: CoolYoshi's Customs - Pik - 09-04-2008

Pretty great, one of your best.

Though, since it's basically mirrored the lightsource is off. (Unless it's coming from the front)

RE: CoolYoshi's Customs - Miles07 - 09-04-2008

Yeah, the "icy blue" now has to be shaded with the lightsource.
And that's alright about the crown, CY. I can understand about the misalignment.

Thanks Pik Big Grin
Also Miles, I made it so more and more of the light source, gets lighter and lighter shaded near the top.

RE: CoolYoshi's Customs - Miles07 - 09-05-2008

Yep, that looks better!
