chewing gum helps a lot. or you could just get something to drink.
augg i wish i didn't have so much resistance. when you just start smoking weed, you get so damn high, and it lasts fairly long.

chew really strong gum (5 gum works well for this sort of thing) in conjunction with drinking some coffee afterwards
then go brush your teeth
