RE: Ness - Zoo Monkey - 02-03-2010

Looks good. You should probably make the chin a bit more visible.

...what?
Ness don't have a chin

anyway,
Walk is done
with & without cap bouncing

which is better?

RE: Ness - Wes - 02-03-2010

I like without better. Maybe have it bounce for running, but walking doesn't seem like enough motion to make it bounce that much.

RE: Ness - Ninspriterx - 02-03-2010

Instead of the hat going up making it go down.

RE: Ness - Ton - 02-03-2010

Yeah, his hat is defying gravity there. Tongue

RE: Ness - D2S-Speed - 02-03-2010

Like the way this is coming out.

RE: Ness - Cshad - 02-03-2010

Why does ness lack shoulders in the walking cycle? His shoulders stay completely stiff despite his arms moving to and fro.

The arms are way too jagged, and the movement is plain. It seems as if the animation would suit a platformer instead.

RE: Ness - Koopaul - 02-04-2010

Also why does everyone want these characters to smile? Almost no one smiles in Smash Bros.

I don't understand what you mean

RE: Ness - Ton - 02-04-2010

It's just his walking, not running. You seem to forget that people usually just run in this game, but there are walking sprites as well. Tongue

RE: Ness - Cshad - 02-04-2010

I think his shirt should move a little if were going to go so far as to make the hat loose enough to move with his body as well.

Exactly especially Lucas, why is he smiling? His mom died, his brother almost killed him, and his brother is dead! Lucas has nothing to smile about.

...Kumatora.
