I'm impressed by some of the stuff you guys are doing with these models. Since I have no idea how to convert them for use in other programs, and can't really do anything with Source SDK/Gmod, I just make renders. In case you couldn't tell from the thumbnails I make, I really enjoy making renders.
I apologize if the post is a bit large. I tried to choose a good representative sample of the stuff I do.

I also make maps with them, though in this case the intent to make the map is the reason for ripping the models. I usually have fun with them aftwards, though.

For example, I'm putting together a "Nintendo Gallery" of all the charcters in Ocarina of Time as I encounter them in my mapping.

hey pear-chan do you have the textures for the sonic skrew driver? i can't find them.
great job btw! i've recently became a DW fan and this helps alot...though i wish i could find a model of the Tenth and Ninth doctor with this level of clarity.

I think these Trexes are are ripped, or possibly their textures are not entirely sure but it's still baddass

The Sonic Screwdriver has no textures, I'm afraid. The game just uses colors. Instead of using textures for details, they opted to just give it 10522 polygons instead.

thanks for the up close picture
i can use this to make a texture for it, see without a texture to back it on the lighting will mess it up when compared to the textured models. happens when u look at a model of Miku in MMD and turn the lights down, her skin will be dramatically darker, but a model with textures changes very little...
to the point that a stage could be black but the charecter's bright as day...ooh i've got some metal sph that would work wonders on this too!
