I still don't see how hard it is to make Sonic Adventure 3. Like honestly. Chaos, Water Levels, Nights Pinball, Space Zone, Greenhill-ish zone, these are not hard things. Boarding, Grinding levels,

Hunting for Chaos Shards or hey why not use the Japanese Knuckles to his fullest as the world greatest treasure hunter, and I dunno maybe let him find something other than Emerald shards?

Like a Blueray disc has infinite possibilities where you can put what works, take the time to work out glitches, (Seriously guys fix the auto-dead holes), add me up chaos with like elemental powers and shit. Make a Pokemon reference, I mean that's what Super Sonic was in the first place a DBZ reference. I enjoyed Day levels but they gotta stay the main focus to be worth anything int the game.

I liked the Adventure formula, it just needs a little more tightening. different characters to choose from, all have that speed thing (no gimmicky ones like Big), with minor variations in play style. the GBA games had this down.

at any rate, as usual with Sonic games, I'm just gonna wait for the reviews. I'm not AS put off by this as some people seem to be though...

now that I get a closer look at it it actually feels like sonic adventure and unleashed with a hint of genesis styled art.

might be worth a rental if anything.

Haha oh wow. People assume Sonic Colors would be shit because of the gimmicky name and design, then they drool over the gameplay. That's a start, usually it's the other way around.

maybe vipershark!!! all we can do is dream!!

but remember, sonic has little colorful FRIENDS to rely on! something that could potentially be the signature gamewrecker!!

But it's nice because it doesn't seem to be following that "Sonic Storybook" formula...yet the game sort of...is.

i think they need to bring shadow back. but this time, with total amnesia and comic relief where he's a parody of a japanese anime superhero and everyone being like "Shadow, have you lost your mind?" and shadow be all 'WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? IM THE BLACK FALCON OUT TO AVENGE THE EVILS OF DR. KOTOYAMA AND HIS ROBOT ARMY"

but really - SA3's kind of hard to pull off as the sonic fanbase as you might have noticed is nearly impossible to please - I mean, it took them like 16 years to finally say "hey, we have a new adventure and it's just like sonic's source material, hope you're happy"
Sonic Adventure needs to wait like 10 more years before Sega gets the confidence to reboot the series Frosty!

also is it weird that this game makes me want to pick up sonic and the black knight again

playing as that metal-clad armor knuckles was such an enjoyable mix of "epic" and "downright goofy"
