Instead of removing them, he could possibly replace them since you say it'll be a while before you can submit the updated models Big Grin

RE: Final Fantasy VIII models - Peardian - 08-16-2012

Don't worry, I'll update the uploaded models whenever you get to them. As a rule, I don't "temporarily" remove models from the site, as it creates gaps in the file IDs.

RE: Final Fantasy VIII models - SierraLatkje - 08-20-2012

Here's the updated Kiros model: http://www.mediafire.com/?f8nb2bmpy6kw648
The updated Zell model is at http://www.mediafire.com/?b9uehupb8ub7n1b

As for Zell's fists:

I'm so glad Noesis got updated; this gap was really bugging me. (Now if only I had the files to rip the non-battle models...)

Although I wonder if I should have updated the preview image for Kiros, to add in his hands/weapons in the corner...?

buckets of hands

RE: Final Fantasy VIII models - Peardian - 08-23-2012

Updated and uploaded! Now we can really call this complete.

RE: Final Fantasy VIII models - valforwing - 08-27-2012

chocobo summon not there?

RE: Final Fantasy VIII models - Ton - 08-28-2012

He hasn't updated since the program updated. What he had was everything that was allowed to be ripped at the time.

RE: Final Fantasy VIII models - valforwing - 08-29-2012

aww darn it, i was hopeing on finding a new chocobo model to rig

I´m trying to make a sculture of the Guardian Force Leviathan
[Image: 8-leviathan-a.jpg]

Will be far more easy and realistic if you can post the model of that guardian force here. I can make a papercraft using the model for more presicion.

Any model will be good, but the exactly i´m looking for is where the Dragon is in the top of the mountain ready for "explode" and make the tsunami.

Here is the video for better explanation

Unfortunatly I don't think that the laeviathan model was ripped. btw, do you know how to take a papercraft model and extract the model?

RE: Final Fantasy VIII models - 3dfxgamer - 11-21-2012

I think bot of us aren´t english speakers =P, but maybe you are talking about generating a Papercraft from 3d Model, yes, i know how to do that, well, i know the software to do that hahaha

Here is one: http://www.papercraft3d.com/upc/index.aspx
And other: http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/
last one: http://dxf2papercraft.sourceforge.net/

I used pepakura before, but dxf2 look interesting too.

He means it the other way around. Getting a Papercraft model and taking it's mesh so it can be imported to other programs.

RE: Final Fantasy VIII models - Garamonde - 11-24-2012

Okay I've let this go too long and it's getting off-topic now.
3dfxgamer, your post is a necropost (thread is from August) and a request, both of which are against our rules (the latter you do not meet the requirements for).
Furthermore SierraLatkje hasn't been online since August either so I wouldn't expect him to see this.
Please read the rules and have a nice day~
