OK so, I really hate to bring this up because I understand that the files have to be analyzed and whatnot, but ah... I have a pending submission on Sounds Resource that's been there for over a year (October 2017). I'm wondering if it got buried or something? I submitted it when the game in question (Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions) released, and now that game is old news lol. I figured patience is key but it's not hard to assume after a year that it may have gotten glanced over.

I'm still waiting since August 2018 for my Machamp's Geodude Fight submission to be accepted into tSR. I even did a sprite sheet of Machamp, Geodude and the controls in case the ZIP file gets rejected.

Yes, hello, it's me again. This time it's about my recent sounds rejection.
All of the files were rejected despite being in the appropriate format, and I'm not sure anyone actually looked at them. Is it a case of the .wavs not being in uppercase, or something, if they were indeed inspected? I have also just sent a far less detailed and more confused DM about this.

This is not the place to be asking about rejections. You received a PM from the staff member who rejected your submission (so yes, it was actually looked at) explaining why it was rejected. If you need further clarification, reply to that PM.

In regards to an icon for a game submission, can the icon be from a screenshot found on google (if it's of decent quality), or must it be one we took ourselves?

How do i fully publish my new models that i'm uploading? i added a model and it stays in pending models. so how do i upload it?

There's nothing more for you to do. Now you wait until staff reviews it. You'll be notified via PM once it has been looked at.

We prefer ones you captured, but Google works in a pinch.

i have 90 models pending, most waiting from July, some from may, lates three just few weeks ago.

There are over 2,500 models pending total and nearly all of yours are missing icons so expect an even longer wait than average.

Based on that reply I guess it's not normal for the staff to look at an icon-less submission and message the submitter to say "your model lacks icons, you should fix that or it'll languish in the queue for a while"? I mean there's probably a lot of people who see the "(Optional)" on the submission screen and think "yay less work for me" instead of "uh-oh 200% more work for the staff".
(I suppose if like half the queue lacks icons, staff wouldn't be very predisposed to type out messages for every one of them.)
(I guess that's why 99.999% of the model icons are just artwork or t-poses

I'd like to point out that the first post in this thread outlines why icons are optional but encouraged. Your pending submissions page also displays a large "no icon" image so it should be fairly obvious that icons are needed one way or another. They're optional to make the process accessible to as many people as possible but those submitted with icons are given priority.
For reference, you can add icons to your own pending submissions from your pending page by clicking edit.

I have to place model, take screen, remove the background and re-size for two times the preview.
And usually i have to do this on my android phone.
