I still could never tell if this post in your Big O thread was serious or not ![]() RE: Organizing TUGS - GrooveMan.exe - 06-11-2011 Oi oi. You need to get judges for this, remember? There was a bit of a fiasco about that last time. Though, now the foums are less (relatively) of a spam-filled shithole, guest judges from other sites might want to help out. Might. RE: Organizing TUGS - Alex IDV - 06-11-2011 May I ask what TUGS actually is? RE: Organizing TUGS - Chris2Balls [:B] - 06-11-2011 (06-11-2011, 03:52 AM)GrooveMan.exe Wrote: Oi oi. Don't worry Grooveman, I haven't forgotten about that. I'll see what I can do about that: I'll look for some judges today and hope they answer/accept within the deadline! Alex IDV: go in the archives and click the TUGS link. RE: Organizing TUGS - Untitled - 06-11-2011 Looks like this will be a fun tournament, I'll join but I haven't really sprited in a long time, last thing I sprited was mario.. RE: Organizing TUGS - Chris2Balls [:B] - 06-11-2011 We now have a member for the jury panel. Now two. Possibly three... RE: Organizing TUGS - Chris2Balls [:B] - 06-11-2011 Right. One of the jury suggested there be a theme for TUGS. What do you think? Do you like the idea? If so, what would you suggest? I'll make a poll once we have enough options to choose from. RE: Organizing TUGS - Alex IDV - 06-11-2011 This sounds really neat, and I'd love to enter. RE: Organizing TUGS - GrooveMan.exe - 06-11-2011 Ehhh. I can see the rounds each having a theme; with a different task for each tier. But an overall theme? Too limiting. RE: Organizing TUGS - Helmo - 06-11-2011 eh why not maybe ill actually make something RE: Organizing TUGS - Garamonde - 06-11-2011 A... theme? I dunno. ![]() Um, video game themes, nature, food, animals (counting fish and bugs), elements, common inanimate objects (like house items or appliances or whatever), fantasy, technology/techno-y/computer-y, and... maybe mythological related things is all I got. I want to be part of this but honestly I don't feel motivated enough to really get started spriting yet and when I try my brain runs out of juice and I can't get going at all. RE: Organizing TUGS - Chris2Balls [:B] - 06-11-2011 mh. that's what i thought, grooveman: i told the judge this before suggesting it here. also mighter jetters, either you participate in this and have a stimulating good time, or you spectate and wait a year for the next tugs. up to you. :p Quote:remember these? well, i think they could be good for part of a preliminary round. i've made a batch, but i'll work on more "identifiable" forms, so that nobody ends up blocked on any of the suggestions. RE: Organizing TUGS - lone wolf-rayet star - 06-11-2011 i'm down. |
