Your work is excellent, but here's me appearing in your nice thread to register a pseudo-complaint about work from, like, six years ago. I guess I'll see if this is enough of a violation of the forum request rules/72-hour quarantine to get me in trouble. To be absolutely clear, this isn't actually a request, and I genuinely do not care if you or anyone else responds or reacts to this post in any way. I'm just trying to purge some minor demons from my head.

But and anyway! It's about your rip of the main character from Lode Runner WS. It turns out there is actually a weird 'feature' to the game that depends on the BIOS settings, where if you set the user "SEX" to "FEMALE" you get different graphics for the main character in gameplay and cutscenes. I had been looking for a scan of the manual and found this blog post, and this is mentioned on page 7. I'm not sure the necessary files were even available when you ripped the sheet, I'm unaware of any other game that changes something based on that BIOS setting, and it might be this is the only one! Weird. You can see a playthrough with the different graphic set at GameFAQs/YouTube.

(incidentally, there's one tiny omission I noticed from your sheet: on certain levels, like at 5:25 in that video, the exit is via a door instead of a ladder; when this is the case, there's a short animation of the character opening and going through the door. Again, I don't care if this is ripped or anything)

(incidentally again, the manual labels the main character as 主人公, but that just means "protagonist", and as far as I'm concerned, anybody who Runs a Lode is a (Lode) Runner)
