RE: PokémonJRPG Large-Scale Fangame for PC - GrooveMan.exe - 04-18-2009 So Disgaea-size it is. I'll try and develop a rough shape today. If all goes well, I can move this thread to Spriting Projects. ![]() Thank you for showing interest everyone (else)! RE: PokémonJRPG Large-Scale Fangame for PC - GrooveMan.exe - 04-20-2009 Fuck, I can never do the eyes... ![]() Is this too cluttered? RE: PokémonJRPG Large-Scale Fangame for PC - Seiryu's Tear - 04-20-2009 GrooveMan, you could use Adel's eyes as a base and work from there until you can set up a proper set of eyes for the perspective. RE: PokémonJRPG Large-Scale Fangame for PC - GrooveMan.exe - 04-21-2009 ![]() Ok, I think I'm done. Tweaked the size of the head and lenth of his right arm as well as giving him eyes. Large enough to show emotion if need-be, too. RE: PokémonJRPG Large-Scale Fangame for PC - Lemon - 04-21-2009 Cracka-lakin. I've been un the Pokémon scene for around ten years, I've made a once sucsessful website, so I could try to help. If you want Pokémon help with a\nything just ask, even though everyone probably knows. ![]() RE: PokémonJRPG Large-Scale Fangame for PC - Novalse - 04-21-2009 I think that style looks really good! Good job ![]() The only thing is gold looks a little... Pixely? (I have decided to be more of a moral support person now) RE: PokémonJRPG Large-Scale Fangame for PC - Lemon - 04-21-2009 It's quite hard to fit a lot of detail into s amall space, and that could just be the style. If's like someone saying Kaikimi's sprites need shading, just so they have something to say *cought*Mabelma*cough*. Btw, Kaikimi =# ![]() RE: PokémonJRPG Large-Scale Fangame for PC - Dazz - 04-21-2009 (04-21-2009, 10:07 AM)Z1ggyZ00 Wrote: I think that style looks really good! Good job... RE: PokémonJRPG Large-Scale Fangame for PC - Lemon - 04-21-2009 Me also. Much more orignal than regular Pokémon Fangames. Lemon equipped CHARIZARD HAT! rawr ![]() RE: PokémonJRPG Large-Scale Fangame for PC - Novalse - 04-21-2009 Charizard would probably be a hang-glider. lol Can I help with what the pokemon weapons should be? RE: PokémonJRPG Large-Scale Fangame for PC - Lemon - 04-21-2009 Something like this would certainly work online, imo. This would be awesome, with the amount of variety in the equipmwent. Imaging, one piece for each Pokémon, maybe each clothing item for each Pokémon. This would be awesome. Of course if you (or anyone else) wants to try, then how about this: ![]() Let's make this a contest. Using Disgaea-sized sprites (although I believe that all Nippon Ichi isometric sprites are the same size) represent Green here. Use a shading and colouring style that would match the current sprite of Gold. ![]() (Note that the darkest shade there isn't pure black, but a slightly hue-shifted and darked colour based on the most prevailant colour) you may use a base if you feel you need to - it's the resultant quality that matters. Winners will be showered by praise from both me & the rest of the team, and access to the AMAZING SECRET DETAILS of the project (as a member of the production team ![]() No time limit per se, but I'm not the only person scouting for help, and there aren't an infinite number of places. Too many cooks spoil the broth and all that. |
