Well sh*t....

RE: Daemoth's Submissions - Ton - 10-09-2013

Yeah, I just saw that too. We need to find a way to rip those games. Tongue
I hope the graphics end up prettier than FF5 iOS.

Restarted Chrono's enemies attack and i noticed Ogan was missing the hammer when you burn it off his hand.
Heres the fix for "Goblin, Ogan, Flunky & Groupie" sheet.
Heres my progress for the attacks. Its gonna take a long time, but im gonna do it Tongue
Also noticed Frog and Magus were missing their save menu portraits.
Added the bowls from all you can eat prehistoric contest.

Hey! You're back! Good to see you again!
I'll update the Goblins, Frog, and Magus. For the objects, I'm not sure how we should do those yet. I want them easily accessible on a sheet, but I'm not sure if the current method is the best or most convenient. Let me know what you think.

Awesome job as usual!

Its true that those sheets arent that big and are very similar. We could fuse them and i would also add the Items sheet to it, if thats ok with you. Also, it looks like the Objects from 2300 are missing.

RE: Daemoth's Submissions - Ton - 11-09-2013

That sounds like a good idea. We could just separate by era like on the NPC sheet.

RE: Daemoth's Submissions - daemoth - 11-09-2013

Just did the Magus Castle and noticed the transparent clouds in the stairs section are missing from the sheet, heres the fix.
Checklist, before i start forgetting everything while i do my playthrough:
-EnemyAttacks
-Ayla last weapon
-Objects2300ad
-Status Ailment icons
-Get missing palette from characters from the Editor
-Get missing sfx from the editor (water, fire?) (see post 442)
-Finish tilesets

RE: Daemoth's Submissions - Ton - 11-09-2013

Yeah, that smoke was a pain to try to get, so I didn't bother. I'm glad you got it!
For 2300, the fog covered almost everything, so getting objects was in the same camp as getting NPCs. Almost impossible.
For status ailments, you can probably go to the Mayor's Manor at the very beginning. They did you a tutorial on statuses there.

Added the fireball and explosions to Lavos Arrival sheet.
Added the epoch picture shown when renaming it.
When you think about it, FF6 and CT overworld map and towns are so different even though they were made by the same guys in about the same time. CT got such a great overworld map with a lot of details in the castle ( compare Guardia castle to Figaro castle, for example). But it has no explorable town and FF6 is full of them.

I wonder if they went in opposite directions on purpose?
Great stuff!

Added the transparent overlay to Mt.Woe.
Found some unique sprite displayed when Lavos destroys the kingdom of zeal which made me think of the Bad ending. So, should we do a single sheet for those two cutscene, since lavos appear in both?
Note that i took the lavos sprite from the Map Locations sheet.

RE: Daemoth's Submissions - Ton - 11-12-2013

I think two sheets would be better. They don't really have much to do with each other, so putting them on one sheet would be a bit odd.

Well the lavos sprites ( lavos itself, the crack, the projectile, the explosion) are displayed in both cutscene. If so, do i put them on both sheet?

Your call. Tongue

RE: Daemoth's Submissions - daemoth - 11-12-2013

I was adding the shadow of Black omen to the Map location and i have 3 little questions:
First, i found a black bird ( the ship) sprite in the memory, overworld size, like the one already in Map Location, but mine is going upward. However, im not too sure how to build it since i didnt see it in game. At first i thought it would be displayed when you fight Dalton on the Epoch, but i just did it and didnt see it. I left the original from the memory below of what i tried to build in the sheet posted below. So, do you know where its displayed? Also it seem that theres one for going downward, cause the reactor arent on the same way on the second wing.
Secondly, should i remove the lavos sprites, the debris of kingdom of zeal and the meteor sprite of the map location sheet?

Thirdly, what is the colloseum-like sprite between 600Ad and Mt.Woe, still on the Map location sheet. I dont remember that sprite at all, is it beta?

Edit: Also found out that Magus spawn a blue scythe when you fight him on the hill. Magus Sheet
