Kids and adults alike could enjoy games back then without an M rating attached. I don't understand why they can't now.

"It needs boobies and blood or I'm not playing it!"

because we were those kids back in the day. someone like sonic was like OMG ITS SO COOL.

nowdays, if it doesnt wear ragdoll DD's or dances in a frenetic blood bath of mass murdering while being a rocker gothic punk assasin asshole, its not cool.

everyone grows up koopaul, do you you still live in the 90s or something?

ether way, it's not like violent video games were in the 90s right?

RE: The PlayStation's Mascot? - Koopaul - 06-03-2009

Hm. I'm pretty sure there were adults in the 90's who enjoyed those games too. There wasn't as much of an age divide as there is now.

I'm just saying its quite foolish to pass up a good game because it isn't mature enough. It should be about how FUN a game is, not about how mature it is.

but the thing is

most of the mature games are more fun compared with our old school series as of now, I mean sure kids of now might find it fun but does that mean they played the original? you decide.

RE: The PlayStation's Mascot? - Koopaul - 06-03-2009

Hm? I don't know about that.

RE: The PlayStation's Mascot? - Cobalt Blue - 06-03-2009

twenty years ago kids were playing stuff like Sonic or Mario World, and adults stuff like Leisure Suit Larry or Alone in the Dark.

nowdays both play Resident Evil 4 and God of War.

things have changed.

then maybe you should at least by an Xbox 360 and try out some of the Rated M games

I mean sure you are a nintendo fan but there is nothing wrong with trying out something new

RE: The PlayStation's Mascot? - Koopaul - 06-03-2009

I play M games. Personally I think they are just a good as "kiddie" games. I'm not saying either is better.
