I'd have put the password screen with it, but somehow the password screen won't work on the rom I'm using. Weird.

It was actually working, but instead it requires up and down to select and there's only 3 icons. Definitely the kind of password that AVGN wants.

He's been offline for the past month. I actually wanted to ask him how to take screenshots with an msx emulator (for ripping vampire killer) earlier since the stupid screenshot key won't even work. How dare he leave me! While I'm doing the dirty work, he's probably camping out and eating donuts.
Oh well, nothing wrong with being a castlevania glory monger in his absence.

Got most of the bosses ripped, only Bone dragon king and Dracula are left. Just keep in mind though that Dracula has no 2nd form in this game.

AT Screen Thief 3.8 is what I used to get the Metal Gear sprites from BlueMSX (MSX emulator.)
It allows you to save a snapshot of the active screen with the touch of a button.

Well it works well and all, but the msx emulator screen becomes blurry when reduced to a smaller screen. It's as if fate itself has conspired against me...

For some stupid reason BlueMSX has a filter to make it look like it would when your playing it on a TV. You can turn this off and take "unfiltered" screenshots which will give you pixel perfect screenshots, though the hot keys for this are set to 2 buttons so changing that is recommended.
