I use Opera and I was the first one to report these trojan ads after TSR's front page were reopened.

It's 4am here...
And why must everyone use such bad language...

I use Chrome now, but even when I did use FireFox I never had this issue. Just seems odd how it would only effect a select few.

RE: Random Redirects? - Deathbringer - 02-28-2009

I used Firefox when it happened.

RE: Random Redirects? - Maxpphire - 02-28-2009

I've never had this issue and I only use Firefox. I would suggest you run a virus scan of somesort incase it is your computer.

RE: Random Redirects? - Deathbringer - 02-28-2009

You know, since all the redirects are from the ads and the ads are flash, it might be due to having an old version of it installed. If I remember right, I had one of later versions of 8 installed, than after I installed a version of 9 that not only allowed the New Uploader at Photobucket but also made Youtube work right, it hasn't happened since Tuesday. And before someone says upgrade to 10, I have ME, so 10 is never going to work.

RE: Random Redirects? - Goemar - 02-28-2009

Oh man ME sucks... I feel for you dude.

RE: Random Redirects? - Dazz - 03-01-2009

I've reported this to our ad provider and I'm hoping he will sort it out.
Until then, there is nothing I can do. If I remove them, then tSR is shut down.

It's the ads, but it depends on where you live.

I mostly still get CPMStar ones.

I use Firefox. Though Ad Blocker seems to have fixed the problem.

RE: Random Redirects? - JarJar - 03-01-2009

It never happens to me on my home computer, only at school campus. Forgot to add that in first post.

RE: Random Redirects? - Alpha Six - 03-01-2009

I haven't gotten any recently, but I've gotten them on both Opera and Firefox before.

RE: Random Redirects? - DioShiba - 03-07-2009
