Looks like it's been touched on, already, but I'll just say it... CGI. I mean, not like it's a bad thing (if used right) . But it stands-out, and it ruins the artistic appeal of these shows. Not that modeling isn't an art, but these shows meant to look like, or once were, hand-drawn/painted, it kinda ruins because those models feel out of place. Even in Family Guy I can spot it. Hmm...MLP, I'll have to look more closely now. MLP has other oddities, though. I recall the Library door being one of those due to inconsistency with how it even works, and some perspective issues. Maybe I'll re-watch some episodes when/if I get season four finished... /: (12-28-2015, 12:08 PM)Kriven Wrote: Ugh, I've hated the CGI-mixed-into-2D thing since I was a kid... It's the style clash, man. I suspect most TSR denizens will be familiar with and dislike it. Nope. I MIGHT be able to find it again, but I doubt it. Best chances are looking through my desktop's browsing history, but I don't wanna mess with the Firefox profiles on another computer just to do that. As much as I do recall, they said it kinda went south after the first big movie. That probably would be a reasonable assumption, though. I actually would've linked the video if I had remembered what/where it was. |
