I enjoyed the new Harry Potter. It's pretty cool if you don't think about it too much and just go with it. Kinda like Doctor Who.

I haven't seen it but Cowboys and Aliens looked like it was basically Rango.
Also saw Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, was really good.

I wouldn't go as far to say it was one of the BEST Cowboy movies.
But it was ok. It kept shifting from a Western movie to a Alien Horror movie a bit too much.

Just watched Paranormal Activity.
It started out good but I lost interest very, very quickly. It didn't scare me that much, either: I was disappointed because I expected it to be more subtle, and a bit more original.
I couldn't relate to the guy, nor to his actions, and the ending was surprising at first, but surprisingly anticlimactic and flat.

Farewell My Concubine, it's pretty good. Given the large time frame it takes place in, I guess it's plot structure was as good as it would ever be. It certainly fits in with the premise of the film I guess. The cinematography and acting was great. I liked how overarching the history elements were and yet they never took away the strong personal focus of the narrative.
