RE: Mr. C's Gameboy Rips - Mr. C - 01-23-2012

I have more sprites from the Gameboy! First, some sprites from a Simpsons game! It's a mini-golf game starring Itchy and Scratchy! Putt up with 9 holes as Scratchy, but watch out for his mousy rival Itchy! He has chainsaws and flamethrowers! ...Okay, this game isn't that good. But I love the Simpsons!

Next is the one thing from Pokemon Gold & Silver that hadn't been ripped yet: The Credits!

Finally, all of the characters and arenas from Shrek: Fairy Tale Freakdown. This might just be the easiest fighting game I've ripped from yet! (But then, considering the others are N64 fighters I get through texture dumping...) Seriously, all of the characters have 2 basic moves and 3 special moves.

Are the Pokemon credits different for the Crystal version.

RE: Mr. C's Gameboy Rips - Garamonde - 01-23-2012

Got 'em. Wink

Yes. Crystal's credits are the same way, but with Pichu, Smoochum, Ditto, and Igglybuff, in that order.

And without further ado, the sprites! I actually started that one of Sulley quite a while ago.

(I put Randall & Waternoose in the Misc. section because there will be only one other sheet in terms of enemies.)

Oh wow, I had that Itchy and Scratchy game. I hated it.

RE: Mr. C's Gameboy Rips - Mr. C - 06-19-2012

5 months again? Perhaps I spent more time with my Gamecube work than I thought... Anyway, I have some GBC wonders for you today! First, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, then a pirated game called Soul Falchion, and finally some racers from Wacky Races!

Got 'em!

RE: Mr. C's Gameboy Rips - Davy Jones - 07-26-2012

Awesome, I played this game as a kid =D

I've always thought that Moriarty's snout was a beak and had also serious problems with defeating Quackerjack since I couldn't figure out how to change the steel beams.

RE: Mr. C's Gameboy Rips - Ton - 07-26-2012

Was Steelbeak in the NES one?

RE: Mr. C's Gameboy Rips - Davy Jones - 07-26-2012

yep, as far as I know it's a 1:1 port (or vice-versa).

edit: And he's already on the site:

I think DW gained the ability to shoot in the air in the GB port, actually.

RE: Mr. C's Gameboy Rips - Mr. C - 08-01-2012

Hey guys. Here, we have sprites from an obscure game based on a TV series called VIP.

Haha, I remember this. Vallery is played by Pamela Anderson, never thought that I would see her in a Gameboy game.
