I remember those days, back when the internet was a puddle of primordial ooze where every website was just... ugh, I have nightmare flashbacks about that age of the internet. Information on those kind of leaks was so fucking unreliable, and kids just jumped on rumor bandwagons and invented like 300 pokemon that never were in less than a week. One kid tried to convince me there was going to be a fire horse pokemon in Gold/Silver called Charcolt because someone posted a recolored JPG Ponyta on one of the sites talking about pokemon like Pikablu, and I'm like "That's fucking retarded." And it was. It was retarded.

Electric is one of the best types and it needs more pokemon like Ampharos.

The main reason I don't consider Pichu the new Pikachu is because it's the Pre-evolved form of the same Pokemon. It would be like saying Magby was the new Magmar. In some ways Marill is actually more like Pikachu than Plusle, Minun, and Pachirisu. They have three forms which include a Baby Pokemon. Pikachu has an EV of 2 and so does Marill.
EDIT: We need more ice types. I want to see more focus on types we're lacking.

Actually thats the reason why you should consider it the new pikachu. Because it basically is pikachu.
