RE: Project: Oracles Reborn - Black Boo - 08-27-2009

I think I should just stick with the old green.

Also Fffffffffffffffffffffffffff we're equal with the FSP2.0 in posts

THese sprites are amazing. Is ther any way i could help? I could make tiles, or any other inanimate object.

RE: Project: Oracles Reborn - Black Boo - 08-30-2009

Go for it.

Should the tiles still be 16 by 16? I can edit the old ones heavily, and make them look new!

RE: Project: Oracles Reborn - Black Boo - 08-30-2009

Sorry, but we're not using edits.

Yes, 16x16. That's pretty much the standard game tile.

Also, I switched out the greens so I'm still using the original green.

OK, well, heres an example of my wall, using your pallette.

Edit!

I now have Strait walls, corners, the are both "In" and "Out" and a woven floor.

Its probably not as birght and cheery as you would want, but with limited colors, i think i did great!

Tell me what you think.

RE: Project: Oracles Reborn - Black Boo - 09-02-2009

Okay, the tiles look really good, but you used the wrong link.

Either way, keep up the good work!

What dungeon are those for anyway? Also, we may want to make the floor tiles more...suttle. They're kind of distracting right nnow.

Theyre not for any dungeon. THer based off of the tiles used for wood houses in the games. I didnt use the wood floor though, because i couldnt git it right, so now its a woven thatch floor.

Ill do the dungeon one later, im busy.

Also, are you using recolors, for the dungeon walls, or should i make them each a bit different?

Also, what dungeon style? Brick, or continuous stone walls? (Like concrete?) Ill make both, when i get time.

EDIT:

Here is a brick wall. When i finish this one, ill make another, with moss growing on it, especially for a Forest Temple

RE: Project: Oracles Reborn - Black Boo - 09-03-2009

dude those are some sick bricks.

Anyway, about the floor. I'll see what I can do, just don't make the other floors so...stand-out-y.

Cool!

Ill do the best i can, but being at a college prep highschool, i have a lot of homework. Cry

ANyway, ill try to get a loopable stone floor done later today! (It wont be so stand-out-y, either, lol)

RE: Project: Oracles Reborn - Black Boo - 09-03-2009

good good. I'll see what I can do with the floors.

When you fix it, could you reupload it, so in know what you mean about the floors?

Ill stick to walls for now. Im going to get the stone "Out" corners next, then get all of the moss ones.

EDIT: Done! Check the attachement ALso, both of the stone ones look pretty good when you mixe them, i think. Like there is moss here, but not there.

Cool

oh wow I'm forgetful. this is kind of the faint link that keeps me teathered to this forum...

Oh Nick, you should probably look at Minish Cap tiles for detailing/style referances. That's what I did for Din and Nayru.

Sweet! You gave me some serious stuff to work with!

Ill post more later!
Ill post them tommarow sometime, so check soon. Ill have 3-4 houses, and 2 of the bricks. (The normal, and the mossy,)
Ok, i finished them early! Here, i hope you like them!

Again, you can make your own wood floors if you look at minish cap tiles for referance.

Anyway, good job so far. Now here's where this will possibly get difficult. Think you can make the back walls/corners (the ones facing us) TWO tiles high instead of one? This way we don't have a completely top down aspect on tiles.
