RE: POKEMON GEN 6 ANNOUNCED - Kriven - 02-16-2013

"Water", "Bug", "Grass", "Dragon", and "Flying" are also egg groups, so I don't really see your point.

Oh, right. I forgot. Hmm...

Well, whatevs. Again, new types are only needed to balance out the game. I'm not aware of any kind imbalance amongst the types.

RE: POKEMON GEN 6 ANNOUNCED - Kriven - 02-16-2013

While it's true that, on a logical scale, new types would only be used for the purpose of balancing, they can also be good as world-building tools to further develop the Pokemon franchise as an actual and organic environment.

That's not even close to accurate; Civilization IV added the ability to have state religions not because Civ III needed balancing but because it added something new. You can only add new content for so long before it gets old. New gameplay tweaks are essential to keeping a series fresh, be it adding breeding, day/night, or new types.

RE: POKEMON GEN 6 ANNOUNCED - Zadaben - 02-16-2013

Sigilyph may very well be partially based on a sylph as well as everything else, its inspiration is all speculation so it's entirely possible.
A new type seems to me to be improbable considering that they are already adding tons of new stuff such as 3D, and also the part where it would be very difficult to implement without upsetting the balance.
If a male counterpart was in order it most likely would have been introduced simultaneously, so I doubt that there is one upcoming.
I am banking on the new Eveelution being normal-type based off of its appearance, but I really haven't a clue.

RE: POKEMON GEN 6 ANNOUNCED - Mutsukki - 02-17-2013

I read that the developers said that Sylveon is not any other earlier Eevee type. Either they mean that it's not an evolution type (being able to be Normal) or it isn't normal and something else

RE: POKEMON GEN 6 ANNOUNCED - Hacksponge - 02-25-2013

Sylveon is Normal or Bug!
or is a Normal-Female evolution of Eevee Wink
(Pokèmon X-Y, sex chromosomes X-Y.. can be possibile!)

RE: POKEMON GEN 6 ANNOUNCED - Maxpphire - 02-25-2013

It's not a normal type, please read the post RIGHT ABOVE yours.

RE: POKEMON GEN 6 ANNOUNCED - water dog - 02-26-2013

RE: POKEMON GEN 6 ANNOUNCED - Gwen - 03-26-2013

I can finally enjoy jinx, if only that she actually evolves into something cool

RE: POKEMON GEN 6 ANNOUNCED - [robo9] - 03-26-2013

Yeah, too bad it's fake

I just wanted to say that I actually got a very immature laugh from the post/username/avatar combo here.

That is a pretty impressive fake, too, if it is a fake.

RE: POKEMON GEN 6 ANNOUNCED - ranfan - 03-27-2013

I wonder how exactly it would evolve...

RE: POKEMON GEN 6 ANNOUNCED - NICKtendo DS - 03-27-2013

Real or not, that evo looks better than Electivire and Magmortar.
