RE: SMB3 Mario Revamp - Gors - 06-25-2008

because I prefer the SMA4 Peach over the SNES one.

Also, it wouldn't be as challenging as this one Big Grin

RE: SMB3 Mario Revamp - Gors - 06-26-2008

Frog Mario finished

RE: SMB3 Mario Revamp - Phantom Killah - 06-26-2008

RE: SMB3 Mario Revamp - Cshad - 06-26-2008

Jumping animation is missing one frame, right before it lands

RE: SMB3 Mario Revamp - Gors - 06-26-2008

It's the same as the 3rd walking frame.

RE: SMB3 Mario Revamp - Ngamer01 - 06-29-2008

Tanooki Mario is coming along well. I look forward to when you finish him up (along with Tanooki Mario's Statue).

Oh by the way I think you need to adjust the eyes of all of the Marios. See you always have the eyes two pixels apart. You should make them one pixel apart (except the facing the screen sprites -- those sprites can keep the two pixels apart eyes).

RE: SMB3 Mario Revamp - Gors - 06-29-2008

hmm... I tried to make it different than the original and make him look like Princess Peach's style, but looks like I failed : /

I'll try to adjust his eye.

EDIT: I think it's good now, but the problem is that it started to look like the original sprite, and I don't want this... anyway, what do you think about these?

Bump, C+C

RE: SMB3 Mario Revamp - Ngamer01 - 06-30-2008

I can understand wanting to avoid looking like the actual original sprites, but think about this from perspectives.

By keeping your sprites as is and not modifying Mario's eyes, Mario looks like he has a wide head. But then again, you may like to have a cartoony thing going with Mario's look. I guess it's your call on whether to bother fixing Mario's eyes or not.

RE: SMB3 Mario Revamp - GodKill - 06-30-2008

Mario wide eyes is werid....I like the other one better.

Good job on this!
