Taken with phone camera or something.
Probably a slightly awkward example though I do like how it looked in the end. (´・ω・`)

RE: Post Something Old and Something New - TomGuycott - 11-22-2011

I haven't really improved that much. I can just do the same stuff faster.

I think I've improved, but I still have a ways to go. Especially on shading.

I just have one question, how did you create this thread under my username? Did... you get into my account? o_O

RE: Comparing the Old, New and the Ugly. - Previous - 11-22-2011

He didn't create the thread under your username.
He merely split this one from the other thread into a 'new' thread with the first post being yours and thus the thread running under your name.

RE: Comparing the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. - Gors - 11-22-2011

Edited the thread's name because.

I'll drop my progress chart soon, and I love this thread's idea. c:

RE: Comparing the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. - Garamonde - 11-22-2011

Can I edit the thread title? I don't like periods at the end of thread titles. x:

EDIT: Changed.

RE: Comparing the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. - Kitsu - 11-22-2011

I don't even have any of my work from before 2010 any more (on my hard drive anyways).

Fun fact: I did a lot of FE stuff in 2006, too.

@MJ, I don't see why you couldn't edit the thread title, since it sorta is your thread. Sorta.

Hey Devicho what happened to Bowser Jr. and Arceus.... THEY LOVED YOU!!!!!

Ahem anyway, Zeemort you used to draw vibrant cute things and now you draw more "tougher" things. It makes me wonder how everything would turn out if you tried to redraw those cute fluffy things you used to now. Yeah I wanna see side by side comparisons of stuff.

Of course you have to, that would just be neat.

RE: Comparing the Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Chutzpar - 11-23-2011

That might be a cool idea, actually! I have been vaguely tempted to draw my old ridiculous sonic fancharacter for a while.

Although I still draw some cute things! Mostly fanart, though. x:

edit and no worries, I assumed that's what you meant to say anyway

RE: Comparing the Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Koopaul - 11-24-2011

Aw man I meant to write "Of course you don't have to" sorry if I sounded forceful.

RE: Comparing the Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Gaia - 11-29-2011

Holy hell did I improve. Not that far off, but damn.

RE: Comparing the Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Orgasmatron - 11-29-2011

gaia all of your art looks like you spend next to no time on it

RE: Comparing the Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Gaia - 11-30-2011

That pic pretty much proves that I'm shit when it comes to art (I'm not godly when it comes to spriting, but better than nothing I guess). But it's also no easy task to find an art style to settle upon either. Honestly I keep an ego down to a minimum when I post my stuff anyway. :/

RE: Comparing the Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Chutzpar - 11-30-2011

You shouldn't be thinking too much about style when you're just beginning! Just try to learn as much shit as you can and see what sticks -- you'll develop your style naturally.

It's okay to think about what styles you enjoy and why you enjoy them, but don't get too worried about having to find your style Right The Hell Now. It'll come to you, and it'll evolve as you learn more about drawing.
