I hope this isn't the case Cry

Yes. "Was."

RE: Zelda: OOT Comparison - Final light - 05-06-2011

I really hope they intend to darken this game up before the release. There are a lot of things that would lose most of their effect. Gannon's castle, Future Hyrule, Redeads (although those guys where as freaky as hell), shadow temple, etc.

Honestly, I haven't played OoT all the way through in a long, long time. I wouldn't be surprised if he still freaked me out.
I'm basically a huge baby, is what I'm saying.

Hey, don't feel bad. Skulltulas scared the living daylights out of me when I was little and they still startle me occasionally (mostly because I hate spiders IRL).

Well what I want to know is if they fixed that Water Temple/ Iron Boots annoyance.

RE: Zelda: OOT Comparison - Vipershark - 05-06-2011

the water temple is supposed to have been retooled

That's one of the first things I heard about the re-release!
I dunno if the temple's being redesigned or not, but from my understanding there's going to be a quick-equip thing using the touch screen, which should make it at least fractionally less painful.

RE: Zelda: OOT Comparison - Cobalt Blue - 05-06-2011

hoping it wouldn't derail into an endless argument but

eachtemple on ocarina of time represents a trial on the player.

the whole point of the water temple is it being a huge puzzle/maze that test your perseverance and your patience. it was carefully made so you'd have to take your time to deal with it.

whoever couldnt beat the water temple simply had nothing to do with the whole game at all, seeing as how the spirit and shadow temple were even harder in terms of puzzles.

RE: Zelda: OOT Comparison - Vipershark - 05-06-2011

I found the shadow and spirit temples to be two of the easiest, tbh

RE: Zelda: OOT Comparison - Iceman404 - 05-06-2011

Don't take me as strange but, unlike other people I found the Spirit Temple really fun and not hard at all. :/

RE: Zelda: OOT Comparison - DioShiba - 05-07-2011

Saturated or not, I highly doubt it would matter as much.

besides, if you use the 3-D right, dead hand is probably going to creep you out differently than it had on a TV screen.

RE: Zelda: OOT Comparison - Teddy The Elite - 05-09-2011

Wait, what's this Iron Boots Water Temple thing? I never had it, idt.

Also, I wish I would've bought a 3DS. But, sadly, until I start working, I can't get this. But I agree. Some elements must stay dark and all.

Not likely.

RE: Zelda: OOT Comparison - Vipershark - 05-09-2011

i found windwaker's redeads annoying rather than scary, but oot's low poly ones still creep me out

please don't un-scary them nintendo

You pretty much had to solve puzzle by putting them on and taking them off (to sink or float in water) but it took forever since they were in the menu and not equippable to buttons.
