A 3DS Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, in beautiful 3D.

I'd be happy if they made one like Battle Revolution with a story mode period.

They should remake fire red and keep remaking remakes

If that was sarcasm that's fine but literally what would be the point of that?

The first Pokemon games were great and all (and so was the FR remake) but if it weren't for G/S, R/S, D/P, and B/W, where would Pokemon be today?

I have to say G/S were seriously my favorite main series games ever. I grew up with them and I've played them so many times I know almost the entire game by heart.

RE: 5th gen plans - DioShiba - 04-03-2011

Fire red and leaf green were only made to compliment ruby, sapphire and emerald. And far as I am concerned, heart gold and soul silver were only remade as a part of fan service, Given the fact were long anticipated anyways.

I think it'd be unrealistic to remake red, green and blue again, especially since it hasn't even been 10 years. Hell, I can understand Rb/S but not the original games. Besides I think we are forgetting that R/S/E were the only real reboots of the franchise anyways.

RE: 5th gen plans - Locked Achievement - 04-04-2011

Red and blue were practically remade in HG/SS, along with G/S

How so? Because Kanto was included in HG/SS? I'm pretty sure it was included in G/S too.

The only true remakes of R/B were FR/LG. That's all I have to say.

RE: 5th gen plans - Rosencrantz - 04-04-2011

Ruby and Sapphire were kickass games, anyway

I'd wholeheartedly welcome DS remakes of them, because they'd pull out even more stops for them (like going past the 200) and
hell
if we're lucky, they might bring back Johto/Kanto or include Sinnoh or something with them~

I'd love to see all of em in one game. A dork with dreams can dream. Cool

Online Pokemon game with all regions where you can pick your starting region and explore from there would be my dream MMO.

RE: 5th gen plans - JJtheporcupine - 04-06-2011

I think once they come up with about 7-ish regions from the main game, i think it would be good if you explored thm all in chronologic order, starting with whichever region happened first, once you've done fire reds whole story (seviii islands too) you should move to jhoto, then back to kanto to finish that lot. You should be able to obtain all the legends, and any third game (Emerald, but plat. in particular) they should try to redo the plans, meaning you cannot catch dialga/palkia at the time (plat as xample) then once youve done distortion world, you get to catch dia/pal. Every time you go to a new region, you choose a starter, and youre old pokes are left in that specific regions pc. when you complete a region, it links with the one you completed before (unless your in the first region) so you can access your others. I think they should also add more story features and less 'in life events the only way to get' pokemon.

The game card would be the size of a brick.

But by that point they would have invented a DS with the power of an Xbow 360. So, maybe not.

With holograms.
