RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - Crappy Blue Luigi - 12-06-2009

Going back to the subject of Poochy as an Assist Trophy, I think I've got a better alternative.

Since Mega Man is a playable character, why not Rush? He pops in, does his Rush Search think, and digs up a trophy. Simple!

And, at least in my opinion, it works better than Poochy because Rush actually did this in a couple of games; Mega Man 7 and Mega Man & Bass, to be specific.

Tried spriting Lakitu, I feel like i missed the style though :/

I don't think that was really needed. We're probably just gonna use the actual 8-bit sprite, just like in the actual game.

The past two pages have been about not using the 8 bit AJ

If I remember correctly, Rush is going to follow Megaman around (Like MVC2) and will also be involved in his FS.

Ah, damn.

Oh well, it was worth a shot. :B

Ridge gave me an idea.

How about Mallow being Geno's AT?

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - Cshad - 12-07-2009

I think we should sticky this and have separate topics for individual assist trophies, as trying to get them all done, critiqued, and animated in one thread would be extremely cluttered. If we dont want that many topics for Assist Trophies, they could get a sub forum or we could have threads for each different games assist trophies (one for mother, one for mario etc)

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - Ton - 12-09-2009

What will he do?

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - Shadowth117 - 12-09-2009

I like how the sprite is coming along, but like Ton said you need to give a description of what he does when he's summoned.

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - red reaper - 12-09-2009

well i havent played m&lss so i dont want to mess him up dose anyone have any good ideas

RE: Assist Trophies and Pokemon - Bazzoka - 12-09-2009

While that sprite is indeed looking very good, you can't expect others to come up with something. I think if you haven't played any of the Mario & Luigi games, since he's in every single one of them, just with varying roles, then look up YouTube videos or something.

I have one suggestion for Fawful, but it doesn't make the most sense...

Fawful, wearing his Headgear, would appear, float towards the center of the stage, and once there, the teeth on his Headgear would shoot straight up, latch onto something unseen past the top of the screen, and then start swinging around the stage like a pendulum.

^ That'd be quite hilarious, though it definitely makes no sense whatsoever...
