I clicked the link expecting Sonic Colors

I get mod discussion and people trying to remember country's state's names.

I'm dissapointed.

On Topic:

The reason i like the addition of character ins the Sonic Universe validates that there's more going on here than the first games imply. Like for example: The Death Egg. NO ONE KNEW OR care about that shit?! Knuckles Presents: The Chaotix, cool Reptiles are sentient as well.

Blaze and Silver prove that the universe is indeed impacted on dimensional and time travel.

I dunno, I know Sonic doesn't NEED these things but at the same time it's cool to know there's more going on here than they're letting on.

Relevance: The small aliens have replaced small animals. We have come full circle people!

I am seriously confused as to what you mean here.

Well in Adventure we not only learn there's more humans that Doctor Eggman. We learn that he menaces them as much as he menaces others. With the improvement of technologies more beings are added to expand the fact that on this planet it's not just Sonic, Knuckles and Tails who stop Eggman from doing whatever he wants. Before I started reading the comics closely when I was younger, I genuinely believed that's all there was.

nope i don't give one solitary shit about any of tha tkind of stuff, and why should i, it's a goofy colorful platform game series about a blue hedgehog with 'attitude,' it's not like any of us are begging for a mario game to show us the exact lineage of princess peach so we can better understand the mushroom kingdom's version of the feudal system or something

RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - Rökkan - 06-22-2010

RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - Rökkan - 06-22-2010

ok added

something that djanjo reminded me of (although not very related to what he was talking about) was how in Knuckles Chaotix some characters kind of had a different way of spinning.

Knuckles and Mighty did the normal spinning jump/dash that Sonic has.
Espio kind of did a pirouette
While Vector, with his (previously) slim body, spinned like a wheel

Sonic's spinning like a ball is his signature move. Other than him, I think only Mighty should be able to curl in a ball like Sonic does. All other characters should have a form of spinning, but different than Sonic's and fitting to their abilities. (Tails can spin his tails like he usually does for flying, and Knuckles can spin his arms around to dig and break walls maybe?)

I know the series doesn't NEED to be deep. It's just cool to see how deep it could be. Couldn't care less if no one feels the same, but I can see Koopaul has been thinking about his own childhood series a little deeper than it's portrayed. Though again, no one gives a solitary shit about a platformer about a blue hedgehog with 'attitude who has people he meet's or interacts with.

RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - Koopaul - 06-22-2010

But those games shouldn't cater to a few kooks like us.

RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - Cobalt Blue - 06-23-2010

i played all 4 sonic genesis games and honestly

never understood why people needed a story/plot to link them all. never felt it necesary in any way.

RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - Vipershark - 06-23-2010

sonics 2 and 3K already have a plot connecting them

sonic 1 is the only game that has (seemingly) no connection to its sequels
