Baegal: You seem to be mixing up Adeline with Ado. Adeline looks like this:

And yeah, OK pretty much covered what I was going to say about the wapod.

RE: Super Star Ultra Project - Phase 2 - Deathbringer - 01-25-2009

Aren't Ado and Adeline the same person?

Uh -- no.

@Crazy_Handyman, that's up to each individual. However, requests are not generally allowed on this forum.

okay well, I'm done working on the Master Ability for Kirby, or at least what I need for my game(reason why I wanted to do this one). :o anything I didn't do was because I didn't need it for my game. The file types I've been uploading on my geocities has been PNG using MS paint, so I'll export a higher quality(from school) and make a final upload for my sprites. I'm going to sleep for now, night everyone Big Grin

Please never post again ever.

But no, they aren't taking request. Whatever in the Kirby series NOT made in KSSU style, they plan on converting into KSSU style.

Finished! How does it look?

Wapod's need their own color. Even in the original game they weren't the same color as Waddle Dee. They were more a more ghostly shade of Waddle Dee's original color. That said, I believe you should do the same here. Color them lighter as if they were ghosts of partner Waddle Dee, instead of using Waddle Dee's enemy palette.

Further more, I dislike the direction wapod is facing. In the original game, instead of facing so much forward, he faced slightly more upward and toward the screen, cause he's ascending in the game. Basically, don't try to shortcut it by taking Waddle Dee's "standing" pose, removing the legs, and attaching a triangle. Put more effort into this, cause it really shows.

Lastly, though this is mostly an opinion for everyone doing enemies, I think people should include multiple palettes for their enemies, since KSSU seems to do so with almost all of the enemies.

Hello Spriters,
I'm really impressed from your work which you all have done with this
Kirby Super Star Ultra Project, but it seems there are some difficulties
to draw other Kirby Universe Characters in this style.
It's just an Idea but we have a good Kirby Advance Pixel Tutorial in the Tutorial Section. Why not writing a KSSU Tutorial which shows the differences between these two styles
and explains how to draw Sprites from scratch in this style (mainly from K64).

Like I said, it's just an Idea and no one have to do this (only if someone want to do it). Im Happy that this Project is turning out great. Keep up the great work Spriters!

Any more comments?
