I love that pose, the only thing I see wrong is the his arms need to be thicker and shorter, and his left (our right) leg needs to be shorter (and perhaps a bit thicker as well).

I think that the shading is badly applied on the tail, and that the AAing should go on the outside. I find that the sprite looks flaky (because of the latter AAing I was talking about) and that you should try and make it bigger. I also suggest some shading underneath the rings of the belly would look good. Here's an edit, it's not perfect but could put you on the right tracks:

Yours edit is better, but now it has way too much AA on him...Take a look at the Yellow Version sheet, near the bottom of the first post...The only one AA'd remotely close to the Dragonite you posted is Butterfree...

Yeah, at 1am you tend to over-do things 'Big Grin. I hope that its original spriter notices that I messed with the wings, the legs, the face, and the belly shading.
Ah, here's my update:

@the Dragonite lol. It's awesome and kinda 3-dish but its pretty blurry Wink. I'll wait till XG gets on to cnc.

RE: Pokemon Pink - ChaosAngel - 01-22-2009

this is so cool! wish i was a good enough spriter to be able to contribute. hope you guys release the finished version to the public Big Grin

RE: Pokemon Pink - Bear Saxaphone - 01-23-2009

Do you think you could change the name from Japanese Tree Frog to Frostbite?

RE: Pokemon Pink - king of scots - 01-30-2009

If you don't mind me asking i am taking psyduck

RE: Pokemon Pink - Clutch - 01-31-2009

Glad to see this lived after so long.

It's been awhile XG, but maybe you can still get a use out of this:

Took me long enough, didn't it?

RE: Pokemon Pink - Chris2Balls [:B] - 02-01-2009

It looks good (but you could do something with that arm tucked behind her back), but I believe it's GBC graphics.

RE: Pokemon Pink - Clutch - 02-01-2009

I figured I could leave it to XG to decide how he wants the colors, considering Yellow's sometimes unfortunate application of one limited palette to every trainer (doesn't work too well on Daisy as is).

RE: Pokemon Pink - Koopaul - 02-04-2009

Yeah, why is that Rattata standing up straight anyway?

RE: Pokemon Pink - Chaoxys - 02-04-2009

I can take a crack at a new Rattata after I finish my school work.

RE: Pokemon Pink - Lemon - 02-04-2009

I know this project is a bout cute, and as you said you were doing Ratata, just thought I'd tell you the Pokémon ranger sprites for Ratatta make me go Cute

RE: Pokemon Pink - Hoeloe - 02-06-2009

I agree with the Rhydon comment, but I like the Rattata and Vaporeon. Rattata looks awesome standing on two legs, and, before you say "RATS DON'T STAND ON 2 LEGS!", if you have ever actually seen any 4 legged mammal, most can stand of 2 legs if they choose. They can't walk usually, but they can stand.

Vaporeon's tail may be bigger than other sprites, but hey, it gives the sprite much more depth, and really gives it the feel of Vaporeon, rather than your edit which makes it feel more like Eevee in blue.
