RE: Mit's Sprites and Such - Mit - 05-17-2014 bumped again, but here's some more new stuff. I wasn't totally satisfied with the last sheet (not the smilies), so I redid it. I'm much more content with these RE: Mit's Sprites and Such - Mit - 06-08-2014 oops double posting AND bumping, but this time I've got some more interesting stuff. it's still Mario, though. I've gotta work on not doing Mario so much. firstly, here's a finished sheet (that's been on the main site for a bit now) secondly, here's some stuff I excluded since they have more of a specific use than just Mario, plus I'm eventually gonna expand upon them (maybe tomorrow on-stream) I'm also aware of how not-good the throwing animation is when compared to other animations, and I do plan on fixing it. I might do that tomorrow too, and I'm thinking I could scout out some of NSMB's animations and study those for reference. EDIT: here's some animations too EDIT2: also, here's a revision of this RE: Mit's Sprites and Such - E-Man - 06-08-2014 Don't worry about double-portins and bumping your own topics, Mit. As long as you have something to contribute, it should be fine. Anyway, could you take a look at this sprite? I think it would look better if you created some smears of sorts to enhance the movement of the arms and make them look like they are going that fast. RE: Mit's Sprites and Such - StarSock64 - 06-08-2014 1. It's super hard to tell what's going on in the cutter icon 2. I'm not liking the way Mario's skin blends in with the spiked shell costume I love how cartoony these are (if only nintendo treated mario as anything but empty plastic) RE: Mit's Sprites and Such - E-Man - 06-08-2014 There's more than one kind of smear to use for animation, but the one you used works. RE: Mit's Sprites and Such - Mit - 06-24-2014 taking a break from sheets to work on something (debatably) simpler. I have spaces set up for all the current Smash 4 characters, and I plan on doing sprites of all of them. so far, the only one I'm not 100% satisfied with is donkey kong, he could use a little bit of sprucing up RE: Mit's Sprites and Such - Koh - 06-24-2014 Megaman looks a lil chubby, but otherwise I like 'em~ RE: Mit's Sprites and Such - Mit - 07-04-2014 I've got a number of things now goombas are done I think and luigi's beginnings note that everything for luigi is a HUGE WIP. I'm probably gonna redo like all of the poses to be less like mario's EDIT: RE: Mit's Sprites and Such - MrYoshbert - 07-04-2014 Goomba's head is a bit too round-looking (disregard that if it's just an artistic choice). Other than that, everything looks good. RE: Mit's Sprites and Such - MrYoshbert - 07-04-2014 That's looking better. RE: Mit's Sprites and Such - Mit - 07-04-2014 tweaked it a bit more. I think I like this better now |
