I don't see Robin's Final Smash being an issue for a Chrom alt./playable character, since you can have 8 of the same character (except Bowser Jr. (1) and Olimar (4+4x Alph)).

Not to mention two different versions each of Zelda and Samus.

I honestly don't know how I'd feel about Chrom over Marth or Ike... Chrom could be engaging as a character in his own right. I know that Sakurai thinks the character would feel too similar to the FE Lords the game already has, but I see Chrom as having a mid-power style which is very aloof and flashy. The character doesn't come across to me as being one who fights like the characters present, unlike Eirika or Sigurd (who should definitely fit over Lucina and Marth respectively).

Edit: And since I really don't like characters serving conflicting and multiple purposes, it really shouldn't be that difficult to replace Chrom in Robin's FS with another important character from Awakening, should it?

After that Palutena's Guidance about Robin, I'm pretty sure Sakurai wants to keep Chrom as a Final Smash.

He'll get his chance another day.

Hmm, Blaziken as a Captain Falcon clone in the process giving Ganondorf a non-clone move set.

Falcon Punch becomes Fire Punch, Raptor Boost becomes either Flame Charge (finishing in a Falcon style uppercut) or maybe even Brick Break (TM moves count right?), Falcon Kick becomes Blaze Kick and Falcon Dive becomes Sky Uppercut. The final smash could either be Mega Blaziken with Speed Boost using Slash for close range and Fire Blast for long range or a Mario Finale clone. (Or Mega Evolving to use the Mario Finale clone could work to.)

Like I've said before, I don't think giving a character an alt from another series would work.

Uh, Blaziken was meant to be a clone, not a Captain Falcon skin, although now that mental image amuses me. (Also the mental image of Captain Falcon starting with a Torchic but that's neither here nor there.)

Not to pointlessly bump this thread but you know what I realized would make very good DLC for both smash bros if Sakurai ever decided to make some? More pokeball pokemon, preferably ones that have been absent since melee (Zapdos, Articuno, Porygon 2, etc.)

That's the one thing I'm a little disappointed with in this smash bros, every time a new one comes out they get rid of some pokemon that actually made the game interesting to play with in a fast paced mulitplayer game with items.

I always thought it was wierd to have Moltres but not Articuno and Zapdos. Same with Entei, Suicune, and Raikou. You need all three.

Is Yveltal a Poke Ball Pokemon, if not, they need to be.

As silly as this sounds, DLC trophies, only once everything else is done but yeah, trophies for games that come out after SSB Wii U.

Probably never happen, and probably already been mentioned, but Bomberman. I mean they have Sonic, Megaman, Pac-Man - there's a lot of the most historically important/iconic characters, would love to see more of that over more Nintendo ones.

Honestly I have no idea why there's so much Kid Icarus crap in this game...
