If a couple of CTRL + F5s isn't working, you'll need to clear your cache. In Chrome, this is accomplished by clicking the "Clear browsing data..." button under Privacy in settings and then checking, at least, "Cached images and files". Let me know how that goes for you.

Oi! NOW it looks like what it should be I think!

Done!

edit: Also added an Xbox button while I was at it. PSN doesn't have online profiles that can be viewed by the public to a designated URL, so I can't add them.

Another suggestion regarding TMR: It seems that the only person who looks at and accepts/rejects submissions is Peardian, whereas on TSR, we have quite a few mods and admins who look at and accept/reject submissions. Is there any way that we could have more than one person looking at submissions on TMR?

A dark skin!

Thanks to Kosheh, we now have The Dark Resource skin!

edit: oh, and refresh if any images have white fluff around them.

The issue with that is that nobody but him and Roxas (who isn't really even around anymore) can actually tell whether a model submission is up to snuff or not, because there are almost no people who are really experienced with models. If I were to help with the task, for example, I would not know whether the polygons would be wrong, or if there are UV problems, or other such things. It honestly just requires someone with a trained eye for models that can see flaws like that.

dreams really do come true Shy
Thanks a lot Kosheh and Dazz.

EDIT: There is one little suggestion for the new skin, switch the new post and no new posts around, since the white icon stands out more then the black one.

I'm probably just gonna throw together some brand new icons entirely later today or something so that won't be an issue for long.

I have a few suggestions in regards to the redesign.

1. It feels very cramped. Especially with all this empty space on the left and right. This design doesn't work very well for wide monitors because of that. An option to widen the site would be appreciated.
2. It takes a little longer to view all the sheets on a page combined with the cramped design and big thumbnails. So another option to shrink thumbnails would be great. Although this could also be solved with just widening the site, maybe.
3. The site also really really needs an option to view full size sprite sheets first. Having to click twice to view full sizes feels counter intuitive.

The reason for the fixed width is to allow for us to design pages with a more designated and organised appearance. You'll notice how now everything fits correctly, and there's no huge gaps between one content box and another - everything is within one a simple column that is visible without the need to turn your head and hunt around the page.

A common issue we heard from users was that they often missed content because they would skim the page only to skim over something. With the current width and 4-icon-per-row design, it's possible to scan a page by simply scrolling with the mouse. You barely need to move your eyes away from a single area.

We can't increase the width and still abide by these design choices, as they would then be very out of place. We also designed the site to be more fitting of other sites you might visit - most commonly, you can think of Screw Attack, Facebook, Twitter, Normal Boots, VGFacts, or DidYouKnowGaming. All of these sites follow a fixed width column layout, and in order to be easier to the standard internet user, it's something we felt we should follow.

We can't do this either, as doing so would stretch the main content area dramatically in some cases, and cause the site to completely buckle due to the extreme dimensions of some sheets.

In our redesign, we actually made the limit of what must be clicked larger, as we are able to determine a proper width for the user. Before, it was guess work, as we had no idea what width you would be viewing the site in.

edit: I would like to also say that I do appreciate what it is that you're saying, but please do try to use the site from some time before passing judgement. On first impression, compared to the old site, these views are understandable. But a number of us have been actively using this layout for a fairly hefty period, and, while I can only speak for myself and Pete regarding this, find it to be easy enough to use. It's just different.

Ah, I never had this issue. But is it too much to ask to have some options for non standard internet users?

I think you misunderstood what I said. What I meant was make it skip straight to the full size sprite sheet. Just an option for that, that most standard users wouldn't have to worry about.

I made a thread a few weeks ago about a batch download feature, and I have an addendum to that:

I know you guys said that system was in place for a few people, but due to the hardware the servers run on it's not feasiable for that to be a large scale, publiclly usable service.

In the event it becomes more feasible, but not enough to where everybody can do it whenever, I have a better idea then the ad or pay for a perrinmium account ideas: ranks/points.

Basically, the more assets you contribute to the resource, or for other good things you do, get you points or level up, and then your level or points is used to determine/pay for batch downloads.

in-post links on the non-vg/dark forum themes are hard to find because they're only a slightly lighter shade of gray than the regular text is. could they be changed to match the vg/dark resource themes?
